    Light up the night in your Side x Side with the all new LED Light Bar from Tusk. It has a great spot layout that projects down the trail as far as you could want and a flood beam that allows you to see what is coming up in the side profile of the machine. The light bar includes a plug-and-play wiring harness, making installation a breeze. The rubber mount between the provided L brackets makes for great vibration control. The light bar’s ability to illuminate up to almost 180° makes this the perfect combo-style light bar. In this video we demonstrate how to mount the lightbar on a Polaris RZR 900 S. We show you the simple steps to take when installing your Tusk LED Light Bar. Available at www.rockymount...

    It should be noted that the accessory block on some RZRs (my 2016 XP Turbo) do not come grounded from the factory; the center bolt (ground) on the accessory block doesn't connect to anything, from the factory. I had to route the ground to the bolt that mounts the radiator to the frame. Additionally, the fuse under the seat in the RZR wasn't big enough to handle this 30" Tusk light bar, and kept popping until I put a stronger fuse in there (I went to a 25 amp from the stock 15 amp).

    Just finished my install on my 2017 Gold LE - just a few issues with the install. First: all the wiring is way too long for the RZR, which I know is because it is a universal kit, but a lot had to be bundled up under the access panel to keep it relatively neat and away from the fan. Second: all of the shrink wrap on the connections was poorly applied and some had to be re done. My accessory panel was wired, so I installed to the accessory panel as in the video, with the red to the far left, black to the middle, and the in- line relay I just connected to frame with a bolt that was there. Third: the leads that attach to the terminal posts were way too big for the post size, and had to be swapped for the proper sized leads. Fourth: The hole for the on/off switch was 13/16, not 3/4 as mentioned in the video, and last, the wires could not be routed through the cage A-pillar as described due to the connectors being too large for the holes in the cage. I did not want to drill them out bigger, so I opted to run the line outside the cage A-pillar tube and held it with zip ties. The hole in the plastic body panel (4:40) had to be enlarged to accommodate the connectors. But, I got it done, and it works.

    you say tie use a bolt on the frame for the ground but you added to the accessory block post? A new updated complete walk threw video should be done to show people the whole wore harness and where each connection goes. Can be confusing to the noob

    So you don't have to run power from thge battery. Just us the aux, thge one to the left?

    • @mridahokrieg6114
      @mridahokrieg6114 Před 6 lety

      Yes, because the accessory already has power. So you'd connect to that and use the blocks ground. Simple :)

    is a busbar harness necessary for this?

    • @mridahokrieg6114
      @mridahokrieg6114 Před 6 lety

      Not for this one because they used the accessory on the block. It would be necessary if you wanted to use the "PWR" side on the block.

    will this work with a full windshield?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  Před 8 lety +1

      +ZachManZ71 What brand windshield are you running? If it is a polycarbonate windshield you could easily trim it to fit around the roll bar A pillar clamps. If you're running a full glass windshield, you may want to look into running the Tusk LED Light Bar Cradle Mount. Provides a little different mounting option depending on what you got going.
