  • Phew! That was a hard video to edit! I am so passionate about the subject it was hard to squeeze everything I wanted to say into one video!
    I am a total horse biomechanics nerd! I have a degree in the subject and I am in my final year of a three year masters training to be an Equine Mctimoney Chiropractor so I love all things horse rehab and prehab related.
    I apply this knowledge and practice to all my teaching, riding and training work and I hope I can pass some of this on to you guys! Any questions feel free to message me on instagram or pop it in the comments.
    Disclaimer: every horse is an individual- listen to them. If you are in any doubt whatsoever about the suitability of these exercises for your horses specific issues consult your vet/chiropractor/osteopath/physio/trained professional who has seen you and your horse in the flesh. Take any new exercise or routine really slow and progress slowly and easily, dont rush.

    Thank you so much!!! My horse had grinding in his back. We started doing these exercises and the vet found no grinding on his last visit. You really helped us out!!!

    Great video and just subscribed. I am rehabbing my RoR after finding some racing injuries in his back, and I am going to use all of these. I hadn't realised 3, the backing up up a hill to work his lumber area, as I need to work on that and engaging his core. Thanks so much!

    This is so awesome, my horse is coming off a pinched nerve and my vet recommended these exercises but it’s cool to see them done correctly so I know what to look for

    Hi Beth, thank you again for another awesome video. Your explanations in slow motion, and recommendations on how to introduce plus build progressions with our own horse are a great learning tool for us. So happy to hear Lily is improving, I have a mare "Diva" who has been lame the passed six months with an absence explosion around her coranary band (from old injury before I owned her the vet thinks) and she is now growing a brand new heel and hoof. Not fun when our furry friend are hurting.
    Thank you for your time, I look forward to new videos should your find time. 🤠🐴

    Thank you so much. Excellent, exactly what my horse and I needed. She is older getting I wanted to improve her core and had no idea how. Did not want to force her to run around in circles. Also, your honestly about your feelings the week before was much appreciated because I do the same thing and everyone wants you to hind your emotions or worry about your beloved horse. Smiles to you

    This is such a very helpful video. Thank you! I want to try these with my horse. She appears kind of weak in her musculature and she does stumble a lot. She often stumbles while I’m riding her too which had been scary so I’ve decided I need to work more on building up her strength and endurance. Thank you for the video!

    Just found this channel. Have a 21 yr old horse im restarting. Does anyone have any idea how frequently or how long i should be working her? The only health issue ive noticed is she might have a little arthritis in her left hind. Vet has seen her and doesnt think she has any major issues. Hasn't been worked frequently since 2006.

    Can you do these with saddle on as a warm up? Or would that be restricting

    • @bethnorrishequine9077
      @bethnorrishequine9077  Před 3 lety

      It would be preferable to do it without, but if you have an excellently fitted saddle and girth then these would be a very useful warm up- and its exactly what I do with my horse when time is tight!
