Can confirm I've updated my watch 4 classic today morning in India but they haven't fixed the caller id issue. That seems to be still broken and that's the most important thing for me as i dont know who is calling me as some names are showing up and some are just phone numbers even though the phone number is saved on my phone. Anyone else still has this issue after the update? Also another edit: seems like the show media controls feature seems to be working again as intended.

Its true.... Now I am very disappointed by Samsung ... My Galaxy watch 4 classic had the same issue ... But for me it only appears with a non Samsung smartphone. I mean when paired to non Samsung phone the caller id appears but it doesn't appear when paired to my Galaxy s 20 ultra.

Also when someone is calling, screen doesn't show anything... it's just a blur screen🥲
The Dec update fixed the Google Play Services battery drain, and my battery got a great boost of 30% more per charging cycle.

I went from 1 day and 23 hours without aod to 2 days and 23 hours at max with aod off, everything else on, with my watch 6 44mm wifi version
An issue that wasn't fixed is that when i recieve whatsapp call the name will not show, only number
This problem started with wear os 4 update and wasn't fixed in this update

Got the update for my watch 5 pro on 19 December in the UK to be honest I haven't noticed any difference in smoothness or battery performance its been 8 days since the update so I would have thought it had been optimised by now. Currently I've got 22% battery remaining and 2 days 17 hours since the last full charge which is approximately what I have always had.
Got the update yesterday on my watch 4 and the battery seems worse. I used to get about 2 days but this morning at 9am I was at 100% and it went down to 8% by 9pm.
after the update i saw an orange point in my bicycle workout icon, i entered and i dont know if it was there before or not but i saw new options : "interval" and "race"
now that i think about it, its propably due to the latest samsung health update, but it was around the same time with the watch update
Galaxy watch 6 keeps freezing when checking HR, this issue has been around since I can remember with other galaxy watches, cheap watch its time to switch to Garmin
updated my galaxy 4 classic and also noticed the battery optimization and also improved system running, i hope we get some more updates.

Hello. I received the update yesterday in Cameroon. The battery draining has been fixed.
They didn't fix one of main issues with UI5. The volume control doesn't work properly in media controler after upgrade to Wear OS4. In 3.5 all was fine.
Did you report it to Samsung?
No but over Samsung forum there is thread about that issue. Also from Reddit galaxy watch subredit many people when received new OS version complaint about that before over 2 months ago. Samsung just don't care to fix it. I made BIG mistake to upgrade. Many times I ignored annoying popups about new UI5 update but one day just clicked incidentally install. I want to downgrade but as know that's not possible.

Update....30 seconds after I posted this i checked my watch and a update was available for my Watch 5 Pro LTE on the east coast USA.
--I will never buy an LTE again.. I bought it just cuz it was the top of the line Even realizing I would probably never use it which I never have.
The battery life has took a hit on my Watch 5 since the one ui 5 update.
What up with Google Assistant on GW5pro? It works then it doesn’t. I ask it to call someone and it seems do it but it never makes the call my phone.
I can't see any apps on play Store after the Dec security patch. Is anyone facing this issue?
Enabling location history and search history in your Google account helped some people. Other than that, seems like Google screwed something up and you'll have to wait for a fix.

Never had battery issues until this latest update. My watch went into battery saving mode about 5 hrs of use today

No, it was the final update for 2023. There will be plenty more in the next 2-3 years.

Hello I have a galaxy classic LTE watch 4 that I brought second. Could not get microphone 🎤 to work. Tried everything. So I brought a galaxy watch 6 LTE brand new and guess what the exact same problem it has blown me away. Will not work on voice record or phone calls or on Google assistant unless I screamed at the watch it would part pick up muffled sound. Another interesting point is when you tapped on the edge with your fingernail. The microphone would pick up that tapping clearly. So I now believe classic watch 4 and 6 are identical watches to have the exact same problem.i spent an hour with Samsung Australia service and all there fixes would not correct the microphone . So I have sent both watches back to Samsung Australia to repair. They said it would be a 5 to 10 day turnaround. Does anyone else have issues withicrophone

As a watch5 pro owner I would just say as with any watch even the seven fitbits I had over the course of 11 years you have to give the watch time to adjust or train itself to you wish in my opinion takes about a week. Especially the battery.

Got my update of December security patch but after that Google play store on watch does not show any installed apps. I can though download new apps from store and can go and find the installed apps and only then update them. Google play store only says no installed apps😢

Hello, i'm having problems with my galaxy watch 6 classic, a couple of days I tried to access the play store in the watch and the only thing that appears it's the magnifier icon and not all the usual categories and suggesting, you can search for stuff though. Anything like this happened to you?, I cleared cache and date and uninstalled the play store update and the problem remains

Just receive firmware update for GW5 Pro yesterday night in Egypt, but unfortunately I thought will see the battery life 3 days instead of 1 day and half day, I remember someone reported the battery life has been increased to 3 days after updating.
