The Galaxy Watch band system is actually way better than the Apple Watch or the Pixel Watch for one simple reason, it uses standard watch bands rather than proprietary bands like the Apple Watch or the Pixel Watch. Having the standard springbar setup out of the box gives the Galaxy Watch a huge selection of bands that far exceed the quality of anything available for the two competitors. There are adapters for the Apple and Pixel watches that let you use springbar bands, but it's better to have that option on the watch itself.

I want to be able to play podcasts and music while I run and the heart rate info is a bonus. I have a pixel phone but as I said I won't be carrying it with the watch often. I am seeing refurbed for 90.00 do you think this is a good option for what I need, or do you have another recommendation? Thanks!
I love my Samsung watch 4 but the only thing I didn't like is it's eating the battery too much even when it's turned off. I do turn it off when unused, but I will be surprised to find out it's gone from 100% to 86%.
I still have the Original Galaxy watch 2018, kinda buggy but I just use it to tell the time and coz it looks cool, especially the bezel. I remember I used to watch YT and make calls with it back then
Today my brother gave me his Watch 4, which has been sitting in a bag UNUSED for 2 years. Took over 45 minutes before the charging started. It was at 0%.
For others, I love my fit3 but I'm upgrading pretty soon to this watch as it has more features for what I need. But if you're looking for a basic workout tracker that let's you read notifications and do some other basic things it's not a bad deal. You can't text, answer calls, or play games on it though.
About the watch...... I have a few doubts. 1. Can I connect the watch to a Samsung tablet? 2. In the Bluetooth version, can I use the browser only by connecting to a wifi and not to the phone?
I just got mine two days ago. My only concern is, will it still work after the final software update? Because with this thing, your phone is doing heavy lifting. This thing is basically a supercharged sensor

Worst product I'd bought from SS is their Watch 4... initially can use as watch & step counter to conserve battery life for 2 days but only last 6 hrs use after 18-20 months. Piece of junk now.
Got the Classic 4 last month from Walmart last month for $99. Great watch for.a.great price! I'm using it with Pixel 8.
