Mangrove Photography Awards 2023

A huge thank you to everyone who entered this year’s Mangrove Photography Awards 2023. We’re absolutely over the moon with how many of you took part, we received nearly 2 and a half thousand submissions, from over 700 photographers, across 72 countries worldwide.
Today, less than half the world’s original mangrove forest cover remains, so it has never been more crucial to preserve them. The Mangrove Photography Awards reveals fascinating insights into these unique ecosystems while challenging us to consider our place in the natural world and responsibility to it. Your powerful images are a compelling reminder of the vital role mangroves play in all of our lives and can inspire us to protect our coastal forests for future generations.
Our judges Octavio Aburto, Daisy Gilardini, Daniel Kordan and Fulvio Eccardi are now excited to be going through your images and stories while winners will be announced in early September.
