Utube kid 68 then you can’t blame anyone because you didn’t take iniative for your learning and ask your teacher for help and/or get a maths tutor but I do the same thing as you except I have a tutor
So in my school, we basically skip eighth grade math and we had a really bad seventh grade teacher so we basically went from sixth grade to Algebra 1.

wish i've seen this sooner. i wrote a math test today [btw it will affect my grade] and i did miserably. i was so stressed when i saw the exercises. i studied so hard and I'm honestly really mad at my self. it was so hard for me to watch most of my friends smiling and being jumpy after the test. i wasn't even on time. i was trying to solve that one problem when the freaking bell rung and my lungs were out of air. at least i had some things correct. i bet I'm gonna visit your channel every single day and watch your videos just to gain confidence. thank you. really

The cheat sheet tip is so useful, not just for math exams. Even though I can’t use one, making one helps so much so thank you so much for helping me with my science test Evan, although that wasn’t the aim of the video.
I can see the logic behind what you are saying. I have a state Math exam to complete and need to practice practice practice. I separate my questions based on the highest that I got wrong. I plan to practice as many similar problems and understand the foundational concept of the problem. But thank you for your insight.

something that helps me - even if it’s time consuming - is writing out math problems with WORDS. this works for me because i find words incredibly easy (didn’t get any less than an a plus this year)! so “2 + 2” becomes “two plus two,” and i can find the answer. sometimes it’s hard because you have to memorize “x equals negative b plus or minus the square root of the expression b squared minus four times a times c, all over two times a” then write that monster formula on the top of your paper, but it makes much more sense and looks a lot clearer than numbers!

This doesn't really apply in England as the teachers don't know what is on the exams until after the students have taken them. We're not allowed cheat sheets either. We just get taught topics and not all of them are even on the exams, the only thing that we're allowed to bring into the exam is a clear plastic water bottle with no label.

I had a prof that did the "pretend" cheat sheet thing. He would always do it at the end of the sem and say "bring a cheat sheet you will be allowed to use it" then tell us to rip them us before the test. I would always get angry but i guess now i understand.
