When Freddie died and was cremated his ashes were given to Mary Austin and he asked her to bury them somewhere and never tell a soul where they are and that's exactly what she did she will never tell anybody where his ashes are Mary was his soulmate and just because you did not have a traditional male - female sexual relationship that doesn't mean you're not soulmates. They were together and in a common law wife/husband situation for 7 years when he told her he was bisexual and they remained best friends for the remainder of his life and he always called her his soulmate. she will never tell anybody where she put those ashes she would never do that to Freddie so when she goes that's it. it'll be a mystery forever and it's the way it should be he should be allowed to rest in peace without people traipsing all over it and trying to dig them up and all that other nonsense

November 24 of this year, 2021, will mark 30 years to the day that Freddie left us. Here we are, 30 years after his passing, and we're all still revering him and enjoying his amazing catalog of music! All those classic Queen tunes will still be enjoyed by people long after we're gone and forgotten, but Freddie's star will still shine as bright as ever! That's the way it should always be! May every up-and-coming generation, for as long as the human race exists, discover his music and enjoy listening to it as much as I do! God bless you Freddie, and thank you!

Jim Hutton said, in his book, that Freddie requested that his ashes be placed under his favourite cherry blossom tree at Garden Lodge, under and facing the bedroom window, so-quote ‘I can keep an eye on all of you!’ What is being shown here is most likely a monument for the family to come pay their respects, much like some do when they erect a headstone, even though the remains were cremated. All that aside, his wishes for privacy should be honoured and respected.

It was mentioned in an interview that Mary Austin had the urn and ashes in her possession for about four years until the press lost interest and one day she mentioned that she was going to go out to get her nails done with the urn with her. She is the only person that know where his remains are located. She mentioned that the location of said remains will die with her. Even his mother, father, and sister didn't (don't) know the location. Just because he wanted to be left in peace.
When he made the Statement "I wonder who "M" is. That of course would be "Mary Austin". I would imagine that Freddie is actually buried someplace where no one will realize who it is. In a place where the people that go to pay respects to their loved ones, would not know who Freddie is, or if they knew they would also know to keep it secret. Freddie Mercury is not interred at Kensal Green Cemetery, Mary came to take his ashes and she placed them elsewhere. That is only a sign. Was someone taking this memorial sign heavily disrespectful? Yep! Is showing where this plaque was prior to some idiot stealing it a week later disrespectful? No. If he was interred there/his ashes spread in that garden, that would be disrespectful. "I wonder who M is?" Who do you think? the plaque being there doesn't mean that's where he's buried. There's just a commemorative marker there. I have a great great grandfather who died in the Civil War. There's a marker in the graveyard of the church he attended, but he is actually buried in Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond.
Mary said that his actual whereabouts will go with her to her grave, which is what he wanted. There is no way she would have put his name on his actual grave, that would have defeated the purpose. She's still his best friend, decades after he left us.
One of Freddie’s final request was to have his grave to be kept secret from the public for fear of disturb or vandalism on his ashes.

Not sure where u are getting your info. Jim is the one who lived with him the last years of his life. Jim was by his bedside while he died. He left Jim a million dollars & the house in Ireland. He said many times that Jim was the love of his life. Jim was his heart & soul. He called Jim, my husband. Maybe u should watch a documentary about him. Jim was ALWAYS right there by him, everywhere.

The same amount as his ex-lover and assistant. And I don’t think there is anything documented by freddie calling him the love of his life or his husband.
That is a "In Memorium" Plaque - We will never know where he was put, if he was put anywhere and I am good with that.
