    Well no motorcycle is perfect but I feel Himalayan has a huge potential for a performance overhaul. Titanium header, Akrapovic CBR-S1000RR style slip on to remove the Cat-Conv. Add some fuel management system. Play around with Gear ratio. Bigger windscreen. Should turn out to be a sweet Long range Missile. However, One thing you cannot correct on a Single cylinder are the Vibrations. BUT, we can do really good mods before that Vibrations kick in. I should start charging money for my Expertise

    I really am not convinced about the complain regarding the tubed tyres. When i am buying the bike knowing the tyres are tubed , why m i complaining later that it has tubed tyres. It is not something i wasn't aware of before hand. If this was an issue, there were other alloy options available in the market. Why should i complain on stuffs i already considered while buying

    • @SrinivasGanesh
      @SrinivasGanesh  Před 5 měsíci +1

      That is because we were teased that sometime in the future, (date not disclosed) we would get tubeless spoked wheels! Which sparked the excitement across the nation. But since the motorcycle's overall design is such that it is built for everything you can throw in its path, the company thought people can do with this version too. Just to drive sales. And small time CZcamsrs are making such video so that it helps a common user get an idea about the pros and cons of the motorcycle. Sort of a public service if you will.

    I have followed a great deal of reviews as I am considering purchasing a Himalayan. Appreciate your thoughts on it, however you are the only person that has complained about EVERYTHING !! "Bang for buck" is what this bike is about. For what you pay, you are getting an incredible machine. Maybe you should be looking at something else that will be five times more expensive ! Obviously this machine is not for you. The only common complaint I have come across is the plastic rotary switch. Everyone else seems to be in total love with the Himalayan. Odd thing though.... you went and purchased one. That alone kind of says it all !!

    • @SrinivasGanesh
      @SrinivasGanesh  Před 5 měsíci

      You are indeed getting an incredible machine. But can you tell me any machine that has no issues?
      Yep, I have purchased this amazing motorcycle, because I chose to look past the niggles and get myself a bike that can literally go anywhere. Given that all motorcycle riders will take this bike where most road contractors have not been to, this is an absolute joy ride of a bike. It literally glides over bad roads ensuring the biggest smile I can humanly have.
      RE does this all the time, they release a batch with cheap parts, which are not brittle by any means, and will last very long as they are indeed on the acceptable side. And improve it gradually. So even though I have made a never ending list of things that are wrong with this bike, that didn't stop me from buying this bike, or recommending this to anyone else as this is miles ahead of what other brands are doing.
      I know that most people would not like this video and that is okay, however, I did say in the description that these are my opinions only. Cheers

That was one of my biggest complaints, it's way too loud compared to other motorcycles I've ridden, even the Int 650. Agree with your assement. my point is that all these niggles could have been sorted by the so called expert test riders before the roll out. with all these corrected and tubeless tyres, no one would have complained even paying 40k more. Why does the better alternative be offered as an accessory and not the standard. Most buyers are attarcted bybyhe pricing and that is where i feel something like Honda NX 500 losses out as its only drawback is that it is maybe 50k overpriced. But it is a CBU so quality is assured. It depends how much one values quality and peace of mind and long term hassle free ownership. i would go for NX 500 over himalayan as the intent of quality product delivery to customer is quite obvious with NX 500. Ur views on this?

    • @SrinivasGanesh
      @SrinivasGanesh  Před 5 měsíci

      better alternative as an accessory IS the main business model of automotive industry.
      Honda is definitely quality assured, however what RE is doing is, giving the customers a low budget ADV which can take the beating. Given that all motorcycle riders will take this bike where most road contractors have not been to. If they wait for the quality parts then they loose out on sales. Hence an idea is born, that, release a batch with cheap parts, which are not brittle by any means, and will last long as they are indeed on the acceptable side but not polished side. And improve it gradually. So even though I have made a never ending list of things that are wrong with this bike, that didn't stop me from buying this bike, as this is an absolute joy ride. he he he, no motorcycle is ever perfect. Always comes with its pros and cons. I thought I'll make a detailed video on the cons first and maybe 3000 kms down the line I can make a video about the good stuff. (Which is kind of on its way.)

    Dose the bike pull to the write when you let of the gas when crusing I’m talking about balance of the bike I seen a video in India and it did happen according to the rider ,I’m watching from Australia

    • @SrinivasGanesh
      @SrinivasGanesh  Před 5 měsíci

      hi! yes the bike does pull to the right. I have made a video too, will post that tomorrow. It's a short video however. I have trued the front wheel and it has reduced somewhat but not completely gone. However it is far less that what it was previously. This is not due to cone set or bearing problem, it is something else which I'm sure some one will figure it out.

    • @AlexAugustinex
      @AlexAugustinex Před 5 měsíci

      What did you descide? I did test both bikes, 3 Himalayans and one ride on the Scrambler 400x. All Himalayanas have issues but the Scrambler 400x was perfect for what it was. It did not offer much what it came with was perfect as it is. The console and the normal naked bike look is a bit of a let down, that''s all. I still want the Himalayan for some reason.😂
