Hey bud do you have a link for the guy who's designed the new socket template can't seem to find it anywhere looked handy when you posted it but can't find it.
Thanks for the chance to win, Nick! I love the price breakdown for the rewire. The transparency benefits not only the new lads coming up but everyone else too, ensuring we all charge in line with one another and avoid underselling ourselves. Keep it up! I thought to say to you that I an going to college soon and I need a toolbar so this has come up at the right time, hopefully I win!
The Only Downside with the Sleeve-It is WHY didn't they make it 3 Spools Wide so you can load it up with G/Y , Blue, Brown which seems Logical To Me
So you have to buy three... Logically they make more money
Admittedly don't have to use blue on much except extractor fans, but it would be nice if they made it a large earth drum and then two slimmer ones for brown and blue. The price is insanity though, not to mention that I'm totally switching to earthsure for my next job.
Loving the varied content recently, my favourite video has got to be the rewire price breakdown. Very few people talk about cost so openly, and as a developing apprentice it's a great resource for me. Keep it up Nick!
Personally I liked the vid where you helped the old couple with the chewy pup. its great to see some humanity in this day and age ... well done for that.👍👍
I liked the series of videos on the £500,000 House renovation, good to see how it progressed and reminded me of when I rewired my house in 1992.
Whatever you do, don't get in the thinking that there's something "wrong" with you that must be fixed - ultimately you've built a business of your own that supports your family, you've got kids who we've seen every so often and seem great - don't knock what you've achieved or where you've got to in life. You never know, it might be a decision that you made because of your character traits, not in spite of it! - Don't dwell on the path not taken.
If you feel that ADHD is holding you back in someway, and it's something you want to address, then crack on. But don't do it because you feel "wrong" compared to another person - or another person thinks you're not right in some way - we are all unique and we all have our own differences - it's what makes us who we are and what makes humans interesting.
I’d HIGHLY recommend staying far away from ADHD medications. Risky business. I’ve been down that road, the grass isn’t always greener.
Your video ‘it’s ok to not be ok’ has to be my favourite. It’s something everyone needs to be reminded of, sometimes. I think it’s great that you use your platform to get this important message out, you may have saved a life by doing so!
My favourite video of the year was watching you do the conduit work with Mitch. I only used to do surface mount work due to where I worked. During Lockdown started watching you and learning about domestic, so it was great seeing you getting stuck into the work I used to do. (Now work at a housing association). Love all the vids, keep up the great work
Favorite video from this year has got to be the ‘ Poo Bag’ one. Your expressions with the initial failure and then success were just priceless. Thanks for all your hard work putting out this content❤
I love the pricing videos, they not only help me gauge where I should be pricing but they give people a guide so not to get ripped off by a cowboy!
My favourite video this year is the old lady and the fridge video made me chuckle thinking about stuff old people ask you to do when working in their houses and the phone calls you get from them also.
Top videos as always 👍👍
I like a mixture of you vlogs and videos, it gives an insight of what it's like for an electrician and the variety of work you can come across from being self employed, the new and the old can learn something from you videos, the comedy is golden, keep it up 👍🏾
I really enjoy watching your pricing and price breakdown videos. They give us more of a sense of how much things cost in reality. It’s also really good to see how other people do it as you can learn from it and then alter how you do it for yourself if you want to.
I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I really enjoy them. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
I have a lot of favourite videos, But the ones I mostly like is when your working with someone, the banter back and forth is just nice to watch and see, I do enjoy any videos that have data work in it, I don't know why haha
My favourite video this year has to be the rewire pricing, so helpful for someone like me who wants to venture out and do private work, gives me a real insight on how to price up jobs, keep up the good work Nick
I like the weekly Vlogs most, enjoy the chit chat and jobbing aspect of them, seem more real life day to day, exactly what they are meant to be lol
To be honest, all your videos are fantastic, with your great knowledge and understanding of each job you're at.
You provide so much information and details, however in basic layman's teams, which has helped me understand so much. If I'm doing a job and not sure, I always review your videos and they push me forward to get it right, first time. Keep up the great work
I liked the solar van video (Can You Make your Van Off Grid Using Solar Domestic Panels?). It is great to see you exploring the limits of solar. Much better content than other youtubers that just put them on buildings every time!
Obviously the best video was that one with Adam's mum.... but my favourite was the mezanine or van packout. Really coming across that you're loving making the videos just now. Keep up the good work fella
Hi Nick.
My personal favourite(s) are always the ones where you speak from the heart about what's going on with you, and all the progress you've made over the years.
No favourite videos but really enjoying the VLOG now it's back! Keep up the great work and I'm glad your enjoying work/yt again now 👍🤟
Appreciate the effort you put in to your channel Nick! Love that new bag from Velocity, looks ideal for maintenance work and taking the essentials with me between sites on the underground. Loved your van vault video. I’ve been quite sceptical of how strong they actually are and your vid has convinced me it’s absolutely worth the money to keep tools safe when working away from the van.
Keep it up mate!
7:57 finally, now I know what sparks use their brooms for 🤣
My favorite vid so far has got to be the price breakdown’s to be honest love your transparency with them not many people would be as transparent as you and the going in depth is nice to see and a good learning tool for people and got to say nice to see you with Milwaukee now seeing your vids with the m12 made me buy them and they are very compact and powerful for their size keep up the good work
Favourite recently has to be the split con cable, because I saw the stuff a few times in catalogues and never really "got it". Seeing you working with it and pointing out why each conductor is where it is made a lot of sense!
the video i enjoyed the most was the "is it premium enough", the first time i was the fuse box 3 phase and you persuaded me to purchase one and i loved it.
My favourite video was fitting the sliding shelves in your van. Comedy Gold. 😂 Keep it up.
Favourite video this year has been the lost neutral fault between the 3 houses. Helped me understand some of the stuff I've been learnng at college about star points etc.,
Great videos, keep up the good work!
As an adult trainee I think my favourite video of yours in the last year is the rewire as it shows day to day issues I can expect and how you deal with them. Plus I like the filming while driving, it reminds me of Daniel from Ashville
the video where you helped the old lady with the fridge was definitely my favorite, it was great to see you helping someone in need :)
my favourite videos are the ones that speak honestly about pricing on rewires, they are very informative. 👍
I like a load of them but one that stood out at me when I looked back was 'This was terrifying' Vid. The one where you called the DNO due to a massive overvoltage. Liked it because sometimes we're thrown a curveball and we have to have a difficult conversation with customer's about stuff that we didn't create.
My favourite video of this year so far has to be when the supply cable when it blew up as it was just completely different to what you usually see on CZcams. Keep up good work mate, loving all the videos👍🏼
My favourite video of the year was the split con cable and you talked about how wire it in the consumer unit and it helped me a lot on my job with my dad. Keep up the good content Bundy ❤
You do great videos! Keep up the good work! The ones I enjoy the most are probably every video you do for/with Velocity Pro Gear stuff. It's one of my all times favourite brands. Especially the "Make your own tool bag!" video for the NB-100 made me order it at the spot!
Best vid for me was where you set up the proper mezanine - my OCD was pleased to see you get a proper thing at the back of the unit
Haven't missed a video since you uploaded your first one years ago, my favourite one this year was the lighting/tray work you did with Mitch in the warehouse type place, good to see you doing something different 💪🏻
Thanks for the chance to win, Nick! I love the price breakdown for the rewire. The transparency benefits not only the new lads coming up but everyone else too, ensuring we all charge in line with one another and avoid underselling ourselves. Keep it up!
Your green cable video was very informative and appreciated the green cable team taking time to answer my question, so thanks again to showing exposure to companies like them to allow your viewers to earn some cash on the side!
Loving the varied content best video was doing this rewire in Crewe mentioning the flooring with the steel and joists definitely helped. Great content mate!
The video installing the split concentric cable, absolutely brilliant! Amazing insight and all other videos to be honest. Learn so much and watch religously. Doing my AM2 soon. Just bought a house need a new bag🤷♂️😂amazing video as always tho Nick!
Can’t say I got a favourite video, i just enjoy sitting down after work and chilling out watching your content as I find it entertaining, interesting and always laugh at your dry jokes 😂
being a one-man like yourself I like the varied content which you been doing recently, keep up the good work
This one is DEFINITELY my favourite video of yours, to be referenced five times in one video can't be be beaten! That backpack must be mine! :-) Joking apart, I should probably have rephrased the comment, which comes from a good place, wouldn't want you having an accident while you're driving. Really enjoy the channel and content, it's been very educational since returning to the trade as well as entertaining and informative. Keep up the good work Nick.
Have really noticed an improvement in your production quality, like the funny graphics. My favourite recent videos recently was when you were subbing installing the electric car chargers and doing commercial work as its good to see you trying something out of your comfort zone. Cheers Nick
definatly like the videos (plural) of the recent rewire youve done on your own..
this is due to you showing various methods in overcoming obstacles.
using zones to your advantage and adding that socket was very clever
This is my favourite video for the sleeve it demonstration! Only Been waiting for it for a year 😂 I use long lengths sleeving the screen on 20 pair cables so will be ideal for clipping on my bag and keep the sleeving tidy when I’m manoeuvring around site so I haven’t got to stuff it in somewhere and it gets kinked
I enjoy most of the videos but I really enjoyed the pack out videos. I had this in my van before had but it was good to see how you did yours
My favourite video is the latest one of the rewire, as an apprentice watching a professional workman craft his art doesn’t just chill me out while watching I take what I have lernt from you and take it with me on my day to day job the best one I’ve lernt is regarding the getting the cables behind tiles without cracking and smashing them I did it eventually it cost me about £70 in tiles but I managed to get the hand of it at the end, love all your videos Nick thank you for all your videos
Loved the video you did with Cole, down my neck of the woods, looked like you had good fun teaching them to chase the wall
Love the whole house rewire series at the moment but also your detailed videos explaining how you price rewires etc.
The kind gesture video was my favourite as it shows that electricians can be helpful to those really in need. Too often sparks get bad press.
Love all your content, the videos of you getting the mezzanine straight and customising the unit are always a bonus 👌
Good Luck with that. My wife has been waiting over a year so far just to get to see someone following her assessment. She is being told there is still an 18 month waiting list even after already waiting a year.
Loved the Milwaukee pack out and updated van tour vid. Always good to fine tune our vans to work easier.
Great content pick, love the new velocity gear. That back pack is 🔥. My fav video of the year has to be when the cable blew up. Very insightful and one many won't of seen before. Keep it up
Ruining Ceilings, Downlights, Electrician. -Your first video I started watching. Not missed one since.
I enjoyed the splitcon cable video, good to see an alternative to tails.
My favourite this year has been when you added the stairs and 2nd level in the unit. I love content that upcycles or reused old items
Like all the videos Nick, as an estimator for a BMS installer I wish I’d done a trade and been a spark so watching you is a good insight. The weekly vlog types are good through as they show a good mix of all sorts across your day to day stuff.
Dangerous electrics with Crystal and Cole - very entertaining watching you teach them how to use tools.
Absolutely loving the amount of videos at the moment.
My favourite recently was the matt black fuse board, I have a touch of ADD myself and customising kit to suit me and the surroundings tick a lot of boxes for me. Keep pushing forward mate, we love the content.
You're maisonette videos were all class! I've been waiting for you to do that since the early days of the unit. It was crying out for one 😂🎉
I enjoy all your videos. They have been very helpful as a apprentice.
For me I’ve enjoyed the Cable Tray In the LoFt video it was very relatable and I’m currently in the process of running tray in my loft at the moment.
Must say I do love the pastvideos of the Collabs with Cory Mac & the boy 🤣
Keep up the great videos.
Loved the split con video especially, but in general, I like them all. Keep them coming, Nic!
Loved all your videos to be honest you teaching adam inspired me to retrain as an electrician, put some money away and finally got enough to do my 2365 lvl 2, 18th edition and 2392 and passed all three with distinction this week. Loving the recent rewire and seeing the difference of you working by yourself to working with adam. Ignore the haters, I have also been diagnosed with ADHD this year and trying figure out my coping mechanisms
I did the same thing with the same company…best thing I ever did. The medication literally saved my life!
You should definitely film your first day on the meds. The silence is totally insane.
Good luck on your journey with it ❤
Black fuse box was a great video. Something different and creative ❤
I like the new vlog on the rewiring. Just about to wire up my own data lines in my new house. :) Also appreciate your endings "love you bye".
Nice weekly vlog without losing content from other videos, bag looks nice 👌
your last rewire was really good, very informative and those office sockets brilliant spacing technique
Loving the Rewire videos recently… It was a close one because I’m loving all the videos Nick!
But, reason for my choice is for educational purposes! I learn so much on each video you do that is a Rewire.
Favourite video recently was the house rewire you’ve just completed. Nice to get back to some tips and tricks and real world problems.
Hey Nick , The vlog I liked best is 'I Drill Better Than Artisan'. Great content, keep it coming it good to see you enjoying it too.
I would say the video I liked the most was probably a recent one you did for crystal wright and cole anderson! Quite enjoyed the way you were teaching them to do certain things and letting them crack on with it before getting bored 😂😂
Great channel, i will hit the like button more often. I am one to watch and then on to the next video without a like my bad. The video i like the most so far is the recent rewire were you cut into the tiles. Did not expect such a clean finish
Love your content, lots of ADHD in my family, looks like you are channelling it in a positive way :)
The solar power videos are the best, love the new tech and watching you work through the learning and installing process.
That’s a sofisticated microphone with pinky finger being held out 😂
Hard to pick a video, I love all the van upgrade videos, gives me a lot of ideas for not just van upgrades and ideas but for the garage storage as well.
Loved the pack out van tour especially when you failed the slide out shelf 😂
Favourite video was the rewire pricing video, good to see a different side of it
The mez was my favourite one, seeing you do something different and having fun doing it
If I have to pick one, for me it's got to be the rewire costing video. Great to see the transparency and honesty. If you want to have a chat about data let me know, only in Stone so happy to have you down to my place or head out for something to eat.
Loving the rewire videos, keep them coming
I like the video (although been a few) of van fitting out from 3ish years ago. Great to see different ideas of van layouts. Mine is just a skip with a roof 🤪
Installing the high-level tray, banter was great 😂
favourite vid was the fire damaged offices, shows how its not all clean work but very varied, liked the variation between the nice chunky armoured and the final circuits.
Hi Nick, great vid and products as always, theres so many great vids its hard to choose a fav, great energy, if i have to choose then it would be "customer did this" brilliant vid, informative and the poster of Jordan cracked me up, banter is next level. 👌
Fave video was the split con cable! Loving the vlog format, feels like you’re really enjoying it too. If you could put 3 rolls in sleeve it I’d buy it as you could have brown, blue and earth. Nexar dash cams are the best around, even an app on your phone so you can download clips instantly if you need to. Keep up the good work mate
Moving the mezzanine was my favourite looked like a right maul and stress …. But it moved home in the end 🤣🤣
I really enjoyed the £260 for this video , thought to myself what a top bloke and decent human being , Shame there’s not more like you !
The supply cable fault - was a cracking video and a good find. Also, we've just got my son privately diagnosed and medicated for ADHD. It's been an absolute shift in his world. Good luck with your diagnosis.
Great video, I enjoyed your video of your new van set up with the Milwaukee pack out, I’m new to the trade so was interesting to see how you set your van out.
Keep up the good work 👌
Hi mate I’ve been watching your stuff for a couple of years now . I have retrained as a spark I have about 4 years on the clock in the industry . I also am Dyslexic it’s a real issue to over come through life as you well know
Just liked to say well done mate your smashing life
Favourite video has to be the price breakdown ,helps a lot as I’m doing a electrical apprenticeship ,get the run down of all the costs that might occur in the future ,id live the backpack and help me build up my tools but slowly getting em
I enjoy all your vids Nick, I love the Packout/Bag vids and Van tours most. keep it up mate
