I find buying the kits never seems to be a worthwhile option, too short and the magnetic adapters aren’t great either, my last one, which isn’t used that much, completely seized up and is now no good at all. I’ve been buying DeWalt bits recently and they’ve been ok. Trying to get a magnetic adaptor which doesn’t fail is proving more challenging, Bosch DeWalt Wera, all have been poor.

Why have a connection (external) on a 50 amp sub main with reduced size CPC (6.0mm) I assume on a 16mm T/E ? if the water mains to the W.C is PVC there must be an underground route for the SWA if it’s galv would it not require a bonding conductor, could have been to local consumer unit with 16mm CPC but this reduces on the connection to 6.0mm ? This earth path may also be used backwards from an earth rod or similar for planned solar-battery-island mode in that building ?
