There is a "good" ending to the drunk if you don't steal the money. He calls you to say he divorced his wife and since you're one of his only friends asks if you can help him move into town.
Aw, that's cute. I mean, he still is asking you to help him move, and you also don't get any money. So. That's too bad.
@@ChicagoReacts He does pay you to help him move I believe, but the main benefit is that you can continue to sell kilju to him for the rest of the game. Plus, you know, the whole NOT making a man commit unalive thing.
Fun fact about war thunder: on MULTIPLE occasions, war thunder players have gotten in trouble with the US government for leaking classified intel about tank specs and assemblies, because they were trying to win an argument about how realistic each model is. I’m not fucking kidding.
actually what
@@Ace-j3w It's true.
this happened 7 times.
Challenger 2
Leclerc
EC 665 UH Tiger
DTC10-125 APFSDS
F-16 & AIM-120
F-15E Strike Eagle
J-8II
Update: It happened 8 times, now with the Eurofighter Typhoon DA7
wasnt the first time a guy from the UK arguing about a tanks gun mantlet and leaking classified documents about it?
@@SirButtface3000 either that or turret rotation speed I dont remember.
Pena truly is a uncontrollable agent of chaos.
One evening I was driving around and saw 2 lights on a field, I was immediately intrigued: Is it marsh-lights? Aliens? *Gnomes?!?*
I drove closer to said lights and disappointingly they were not of supernatural origin, it was Pena: He had hit a pedestrian (who was dead on a nearby road), lost control of his 4-wheel murder machine and landed upside down after who knows how many flips in a nearby wheat field. He too was dead but luckily he got better.
Oh my god, that's wild. I'm glad he got better? Did he go to jail? I mean, Mart went to jail a lot for less.
@@ChicagoReacts Unfortunately the fine Municipality of Peräjärvi has only one jail cell and that one's reserved exclusively for the player character.
Then again not even death can stop Pena's quest to drive around the dirt roads while blitzed off his gourd so...
Fines in Finland are not fixed amount. They are percentages of your income.
What? That's so crazy, even for minor things?
@@NaderinZimEven for small things, for example the CEO of Nokia was fined 116000€ in 2002 for speeding.
So if your broke it's free
@@robertbrunner4379 the best fining system ever. I'm gonna rampage through this country like a wildfire and steal every single sausage from every single fridge in Finland and then pay them like 1 euro cuz that's how much money I've ever made
@@Spiderella3959There's probably a minimum, tied to a percentage of minimum wage.
Answering the question near 1:50 - yes, permadeath is enabled by default. This is the perfect trap for the new players, especially for those who didnt even noticed that the "ON" text is actually clickable and can be turned off.
Big oof. Feels mean.
Ah yes ! This is actually like those choices decide your ending games , this is a dark ending one , there's one even more darker where everybody including the player dies and obviously a happy ending one . Martincopants is just hilariously goated. Loved your reaction as always lauren and sorry I forgot , cheers 🍻 for the drink , looks good in that mug or cup
🍻
THAT LAST SCENE WILL ALWAYS HIT LIKE A TRUCK!
It will rope you in
I see what you did with that
@@woodchuck94og It will leave you hanging by a thread for sure.
Hits harder than Pena's green car.
Yeah this game is more of a "life simulator that happens to have a driving based goal" then it is a "driving simulator".
🍋
Fines in Finland _do_ scale according to your registered income. According to the ticket, he had some additional violations besides the speeding ticket though, such as having an illegal radar warning system installed and driving without seatbelt.
mart made a short recently where every subscribe or like from it means he would have to drive a certain distance in game, it ended up being like 23,000 km or something ridiculous and people donating during his stream further increased his distance
I watched some of it
5:30 Martin you fool, Finnish physics is unlike any other physics!
I’ve been waiting for this for so damn long! Glad to get your take on this video!
boats/ships are not new in war thunder, just no one plays them 😂
Don't know if you've worn them in a previous video, but I instantly saw them this time and just gotta say I love the lashes on you Lauren!
I was trying something new. They won't be in every video, but they'll definitely stick around.
Btw, when the Finnish mark was changed to the euro, one euro was roughly 6 Finnish marks.
So inflation adjusted value of 5 million marks is roughly 1.83 million dollars today. Not sure if that is correct, but I converted marks to euros, ran it through an inflation calculator and then converted it into dollars.
Back in the 90's, the exchange rate was about 5-ish marks to a dollar, so probably close.
since i come from germany and we know speed and all that, there was once this speed limited 3 lane in both directions autobahn speed limited to 120kmh, i barreled through at 270 because of three empty lanes *shrugs*
So the perma death mode is not an opt out option but it starts as an opt in option but once u click it it will stay on until u click it off
1:37 Permadeath is automatically set to on when making a new game. Its just a checkbox you have to untick though.
This game is just life on Finnish difficulty.
From what I understand, in Finland speeding fines - or it might be automotive fines in general - are assessed off your actual net worth rather than flat rates. So if you speed and you don't have a lot of money to your name, your fine will be lower than if you have a lot of money to your name.
I think the idea is to ensure the fines have impact on those being assessed, but also to make sure that wealthier people actually take a significant hit as well. None of the "fines mean rich people can afford to get away with bad behavior" mentality.
Plus, considering how harsh road conditions are in Finland on average, it deincentivizes people from adding bad/sloppy driving to an environment that's already hazardous. Finnish driving requirements are noted for being some of the most demanding in the world, which is also why on average Finns are very good drivers (and are so big in the rally scene)
13:59 Some good old german greeting 😅😂
11:35 😂 this whole fucking game has to be one big funny joke by the developer… if I’m not mistaken it’s made by one guy… and at first it looks like it, but then you learn about all of this shit that happens in it and you start getting really surprised by how extensive his planning is.
The guy who made this game has MAJOR potential and I look forward to this games sequel “my winter car” which is the legit sequel that he’s working on now.
As a finn this is an perfect interpretation of finland
in Germany they are very harsh with road laws if you break them. even by the little kph over the limit.
What do you mean the cops made a secret pact with the devil. I thought that was just common knowledge??
and this is a survival game too XD
I wish somebody would tell Mart this isn't murder unless you got seriously railroaded, prosecution shouldn't be able to prove intent. It's a whole lost of reckless type lesser crimes, and probably being ostracized by the community because everybody knows you and the guy you ran over, but it's not even manslaughter. Now, the OTHER incident...
My summer car is a broken masterpiece of a game
There is no danger in opening the hood when your car breaks down, even if its overheating.... The only danger is in opening the coolant tank. Even then if you do it slowly and with a big enough rag your allll good. No idea why they teach not to even open the hood over in the US im guessing because they have a low requirement to pass compared to most of Europe (in the UK its normal for people to fail their tests multiple times even after 20 plus hours of lessons (nerves do play a roll in the failure rates)
Not shit talkin the US they have a good reason to lower the requirements. That being the need for a standardised nationwide test annnd kids in rural areas needing to drive.
very nice eyeshadow :)
Where are the 2 dudes at?
Haha no nobody uses boats bc they're lame as hell😂
Everyday we stray further from god.
