Complete Sound deadening project | Suzuki Jimny (Don't over do it!)

With Wolfie's ears set on a sound system upgrade and in hopes of improving the hearing fatigue from a noisy cabin, Wolfie the Jimny was always on a path to get some sound deadening done.
Zook Town, the Cape Town, South Africa, based Suzuki enthusiast group recently started providing complete sound deadening services to all Zook owners in the region, so we jumped on the opportunity to do this "quality of drive" upgrade that has been on our 'mod-list' since the beginning.
In this video, Eldin and Roz from Zook Town give us some handy tips while extensively installing the sound-deadening product, which turned out to be one of my favourite new mods to Wolfie the Jimny.

Alubutyl sheets are for dampening vibration, not sound deadening.
To reduce noise from outside you need to use closed cell foam or acoustic rubber as a second layer

Impressive! A 3dB reduction equals a 50% reduction in actual Sound Pressure Level or an 18.77% reduction in Perceived Volume Reduction!
