This was very thorough and clear! Thank you!
That was cool. I didn't know lithium was so reactive
It seems that you don't know much about periodic table... Don't mind just predicted
Lithium is awesome
It's on top of group 1 .. means it's even more reactive than Sodium and pottasium
@@prettywitty1912 uh no actually it's the least reactive amongst the group 1 (alkali) metals
@@beanman7516 that's what I hate about Inorganic, I applied Concept and it ended being an exception. Lol
pretty cool video with nice explanations
Cool. Missed this during high school

Keep it up brother,,im proud of you🙏
thanks, very interesting
Unintentional ASMR... until he lights it anyway 😆
Just keep pumpin' out those lithium-ion batteries. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?? 😂
Loved it. Why is lithium such a good electrolyte?
This is why you don’t touch lithium batteries with your bare hands!
Makes me want to sit on top of thousands of batteries in an electric car.
Thank you!
From where we can buy this
seems like this knowledge could be useful in a survival situation.
Me encanta!!!! Oh my god!!!
Lithium is so amazing!
Nice, nice. very nice.
Where can I buy this bag of lithium please?
Group 1 alkali metals are most reactive as they always try to lose their electrons from their outermost s-orbitals to achieve stable electronic configuration like Inert gases.
These metals only need to shed 1 electron to achieve duplet/octet electron configuration, hence reaction can proceed. Further down the group the reactivity increases because the lone valence electron increasingly losing touch with the nucleus, hence it's easier for atom to lose it.

Hey from where can i buy this lihium with argon that you have?
I found it on Ebay.com
Nice! hello from Brazil
Cienciabit finally found your english dubbed channel
Wow👍👍👍

Does lithium react or oxidize in a chamber of pure O2 at room temp?
Yes, but slowly
Can i add the video to my channel
Wow!!! Qué combustión!!!
when you light that solution up, without carbon dioxide what was the chemical reaction ?
Li + H2O = LiOH + H2
Then the H2 burns with O2 to give H2O and heat. 2H2 + O2 -> 2H2O
sir thank u
Nah, 3 and 4 could do friendly fire, I'd go for liquid oxygen and a molten metal instead but the rest are good, hell, #1 and my #4 would be a pretty effective combo...
Is there another way to stop it from reacting? Besides the mineral oil and the argon
Just tell it no
Not really. It will oxidise and that provides a layer of inert protection, and you can make it react with something else, to form a more stable product. But there's a reason we don't find 1st group elements out in the wild in elemental form.
Where you buy this lithium?
Ebay.com
my ex girlfriend was probably made out of lithium because she was overreactive
Did she form a strong bond with anyone she met and was difficult to separate from others or yourself?
Wowe, that is volatile.
😢😢😢😢Lithium is a very dangerous to use it as a battery 🔋🔋🔋🔋🔋🔋🔋. Otherwise *can we use Li to make H2 ???*
Thank you for very good physics lesson.
Quiero hacer experimentos con litio!!!!
I like that music
👍
What kind of oil?
Liquid paraffin

This is why Electric Vehicle lithium battery fires take hours to put out and 30,000 - 40,000 gallons of water.
Just heard the news where a cargo with EVs caught fire and took days to put out.
WOW ‘tis really good 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Smoke lithium! Tesla Bot does.
I'm so happy
Cause today I shaved my head no I’m not sadddd
This is Science
So THIS is why meth labs blow up all the time! Got it! :D
Anyone from Jk 🇮🇳.. India discover Lithium
I have white lithium stone
Real time oxidation in air. Fak yeah
And we have this in our phone 😐
we have this in most depresion bi polar and anxiet medications
And I’m the air we breathe thanks to chemtrails 🎃
