Yes that was the best decision and from the ethical angle of nursing, you did the right thing ethically because DNR was not documented and signed by both the doctor and the patient. If you didn't do it would have resulted into legal issue since DNR has not be documented. Verbal order or instructions is not acceptable ethically. l'm very very proud of you. Keep the flag flying. Much love from Nigeria ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this🙏🏽♥️
Loveth, you were absolutely right in your decision,.because verbal comment not documented was not said atall.you just saved yourself from negligence.
Thank you for sharing your opinion🙏🏽
You're awesome! Nice decision.
Thank you🙏🏽♥️
U did so well. I would have done what u did. Even if he had documented the " do not resuscitate order" when I saw life slipping off the man. that was a very smart decision u took.
And u know what, God wanted u to be there that night for Mr. John to be alive.
U are Smart, I have known this for a long time.
Awww♥️ Thank you for sharing your opinion🙏🏽
Well, this discussion can actually be a case study for ethical skills in the UAS exam.
I feel you took the best decision. Much as the patient has a right to choose, autonomy. But since it wasn't documented, the former banker in me, would most likely resuscitate since there's no document to protect the nurse if the patient isn't resuscitated.

Nothing happens without a reason
God positioned you to keep that man alive that's just it was devinly orchestrated.u made the best decision

Greetings Loveth please i really have alot of questions to ask. Please it's about the house keeping course ongoing in Finland. Please must i have an advance level before I can apply to study the house keeping course?
Kindly watch our video on that topic. Next time, ask questions under the right videos.
This is a rather wierd situation, to be honest with you. And I think the best professional opinion should come from a medical veteran in medical and health practice
However, I applaud your intuition and expertise to have saved John especially with no evidence of the call-up doctor's directive duly documented
You took the right step, nwa
documented

God position you there in other to save that man
Thank you for sharing your opinion🙏🏽♥️
I would like to become a nurse
Good idea.
