Hello Mr.Sam, Very informative and well focused video. I own a few Casio and Timex watches, including this great one, but without that "latest trend", of darker display concept. One must seriously consider choosing the positive (+) version. So much more easier to see all the coordinates on our wrist. It is way more easier to see the time and date on a dark night. I strongly suggest to all lovers of watches, applying a protective film such as a screen protector by Palm or others, directly on watch face. The trick is to measure diameter of the face watch, and cut that circle onto the protector film, this via a sheet of paper, and applying slowly. Replace with new film when starting to be wrinkled or unglued, and your face watch will remain pristine for many years to come. Well deserved thumbs up Sam! André.
Released in 2010 ? 🤔 Means its old idk if should i buy such an old watch ⌚ even though if i buy it brand new , did it have a other release date after or Casio released all of them in 2010 ?
The basic model was released in 2010, and the negative display variant is later, maybe around 2017. And so far, for newer "non-g-shock" models that have similar level of specs (>100M WR, mineral glass, >1 alarm), the only model I can think of is DW291.
Yes. Even this one that's been around for 13 years with specs much better than other watches that people called "gshock killer", is still far less popular.

Yes indeed. But as usual with negative displays, cool factor is up but legibility is a bit lower :D

Just got it today. The alarm is too quiet. Nearly inaudible. Maybe due to waterproofing.
Yes, the alarm is not as loud as most 50/100M WR models :D

the strap can change with nato strap?
Yes. It's using a similar lug design to DW5600. You can use DW5600 NATO adapter (resin or plastic).
Are the AE1200 Series watches sold in AliExpress genuine casio ?
