Confirmed. Pandas would be domesticated next after dogs and cats.
Unfortunately, they eat 30 kg bamboo every day and crap it out at a similar pace, so they're unlikely to gain quite the same popularity as cats and dogs.
its not so easy to keep them as a pet. so expensive to maintain them and afterall don't forget panda also a bear
Well pandas already are rather small bears with an average weight of only around 220 pounds. There are some dog breeds that naturally are of similar size as adult pandas. If you wanted you could breed pandas to be of normal dog size pretty quickly and easily. Also... a big dog is definitely more dangerous than an adult panda. And... horses are domesticated. And I can guarantee you, a horse is a couple times more dangerous than an adult panda.
@@swlk9996 in order to breed an animal towards certain traits, you need to breed in large numbers and you need to inbreed... pandas are an endangered species, that are hard to breed. You're not getting pet pandas in this century.
It's very hard to keep a panda outside China and Asia. They eat a lot of bamboos daily. Besides, a giant panda is too big to keep inside a house.
Maybe a Red Panda is possible.

If I were to meet a baby panda, you would have to actively try to pull me away from it, or else I would be hugging it and playing with it all day. They are just too adorable for me to willingly leave them.
