I graduated last winter …. I remember watching this video 4 years ago before taking the decision to study MIS and i don’t regret, best decision ever. Thank you so much
am confused in what to study computer science or MIS , any tips?
Loved the simplicity of the session.
Great information
Thank you so much. I am currently in my 2nd year of BBA programme in Bangladesh. I have decided to double major in Accounting and MIS
Best option, get a CS degree and see how you can be effective in MIS. Or at least get a dual major. Your creativity and technology to back up your skills I think will give you more leeway.
What if I have a CS associates and want to switch to MIS?
You’re the best!
Thank you. I’m definitely going to apply to WGU and see what happens.
Did you end up applying and getting in? I’m thinking about doing the same, with WGU
@@thomasbryans6547 Hey Thomas so I decided to go with SNHU.
@@TheMsgodiva any particular reason worth mentioning to a total stranger interested in WGU? Thanks!
@@thomasbryans6547 My man straight up Ignored you
Thanks, informaiton. Thank you.
thanks!!
Can we have full series of lecture on mis? That was a fabulous lecture.
Insightful
that's a great session l love it
Is MIS quite similar to CSC (IS)?
Yeah
What's the difference between MIS and computer based information system because I am a first year studying information systems in Africa Zambia and I would like to understand it's application in a place like a bank because I would like to work there
One benefit of MIS I've seen is that as you age, keeping up in the IT department will become increasingly tough due to tech creep, as a result with MIS you can shift to a more mng oriented position or at least consider it given you have some foundation in business practices. MIS is an IT/bus blend and while anyone can do anything i.e., computer science major can become a manager going about the right routes, it can be easier when you have a foundation.
i’m from zambia too is this a worth it degree to pursue? i’m going to uni next year
so freakin helpful
How can i have your series of lectures on my offline computer?
Create your own playlist, add their videos, save it offline
@@justinfay3011 where are the lectures ,please ?!!! Idon't find them
BSBA-MIS here.😊💁♀️
Me too but I'm about to go back to traditional IT. Don't get me wrong, I like business but if I wanted to be an accountant or a statistician for business I would major in statistics.
Pretty shitty major overall
Hux they make the most starting out of any business degree. Starting at around 60k, all it is is mixing business with tech so it’s a pretty future proof degree considering how good business already is by itself.
@@mikekrg what is traditional It?
@@mikekrg Demand growing (and gonna grow even more over these next few decades), high starting salary, yeah pretty fucking shitty.
How is MIS in UNLV.
Ayyyy I'm taking that there too
Ayyy, I’m thinking about mis as a a minor with accounting major
Ethiopia management system
Selam, nebiu ibalalew. I am interested in this job
what do you mean?
Nice meme
crazy how bad this could have been for the pregnant woman.
The man talking needs to learn to iron. Jeez the crinkles on his shirt
You need to learn to caress my gonads and slobber my strife
its not the shirt , its whats coming out of his mouth that matters. lol its very useless to be smart and have garbage coming out of your mouth? so man relax.
Forget his clothes and enjoy the class Jezz humans
I agree, BUT extremely intelligent people don't worry about things like that. Seriously. 😊🤣
Damn these downvote buttons don't do shit
Worst major on the planet
Why
@@danielhtx It's a business analytics degree in disguise. Don't think for a moment that it has to do with technology
Hux it’s also the best starting salary out of all business degrees..
Why please give us explanation
@@anthonyb2990 study hard for the computer science is the best option, from there you can get any job in mis
