The monster under the bed was always the man in the mirror when we was younger we didn't understand what was going on so we separated the 2 from each other but as we get older the line becomes blurred and the 2 merge back in to 1

While we get older things become less magical to us as our imagination changes. I always thought of it as you just see less in the world than you used too. When the dead Kraken was on the beach in the scene, and Borbassa saying we need to team up with the Barathreon Court with the other pirate lords to challenge the British Navy. we get stuck in our daily routines to miss the beautiful moments life has to offer. I sat down in my garden today. I felt the sun on my cheeks, was listening to the birds singing in the big tree in the far right corner in my garden, which had only blossomed 3 days ago. No technology, no distractions, just me. And i enjoyed every second of it. I felt like i was living. Life is amazing, i dont say its always likely, because life is hard. But if you are able to really enjoy those fine moments that makes you feel happiness it is more than worth it. Take it from me.

@@tylerasmith52 To me it means, that when they were young the world had endless possibilities but as life comes to a close there is less of those. in the film it is the conquering of the oceans and the mythical thing that happen in them, to Jack the world has gotten smaller. To future generations it will be huge again as they never knew what came before.
In essence the magic of life is in it's inexpeirience, the lack of knowing, the surprise that every moment has to give us.

I just checked the comments to see if I was the only one to be broken by this scene. I could not look at it in one go.
Try watching that after raising a dog...I haven't watched that movie since it came out and now I have a 1.5 year old pup and when that scene popped, I just lost it.
It is true what they say...you won't know until you've been there. Every dog movie/scene wrecks me now :/

This just proves that movies are magic. And life. Pure real life... No matter how much fiction or fantasy that brings the magic to us, they're still so real. They have us live through stories of so many people and teach us so much about many different things. And most importantly, make us feel an endless spectrum of emotions.
