Very interesting and informative. One weakness, however. He misstates the Galileo affair. He also does not seem to accurately understand the response to Copernicus. For a more accurate description of the Understanding of the Church with regard to the interaction of faith and reason, go back to the 13th century and read the work of Thomas Aquinas.
Nowhere does the bible say that the earth is the center of the universe and that the sun revolves around it. It was by the daily observations that they believed so. In fact, Japan, which is far from being a Christian country, is known as the empire of the rising sun. In the same way, the bible does not identify the forbidden fruit with any specific fruit either, it just calls it "the forbidden fruit". Interestingly, the arguments of Galileo and other contemporary scientists, in no way contradict the existence of days and nights as the bible presents it. From what Genesis describes, we can see thar when God put man on earth, the order of everything created was allready there, which means that what man does with his science is discover and unerstand the order of things, it does not build it or creates it and it adapts.
Or maybe the Holy Spirit breathed out the Word of God and truth and gave the writers exactly as it is and they didn't believe in the globe lie? You know the truth now RC. Still love your sermons and Bible teaching though.
If evolution true then how high can human evolved? God ? Angel ? Buddha ? Or back down ? So it is the same as Scientific discovery and God and once got there time is meaningless because knowlege became singularity and constrained by banker , police , and social emotional reaction

Is logic even taught to children anymore? I find that even adults can't even follow messages like this, much less think this way. It's horrifying.

You know I once read the Bible cover to cover I think I missed the part where it said the Earth was flat where'd you find that verse at? I'm not being a butthead I'm just really trying to find it?
Yeah I can't find any verses on that there's a couple places where it talks about the four corners of the Earth but that doesn't mean anything about the Earth being a square hahaha.
It seems his theology failed to teach him to never argue with the wife.That's what happens when a theology is rooted in the reasonings of unmarried theorists - especially pagan men.
