    I have just finished the 40 hr. RBT course, your videos are much more helpful in teaching about the actual work that I've already started doing. I have been feeling unprepared for for this work, but your videos have increased my confidence.

    I've stumbled on your content more than 3 years ago,, just 2 days before my certification exam. It was the RBT Clutch Review set. I wanna thank you because it was just what I needed to understand ABA so much easier. The way you explain is just so easy to understand and remember. I passed the exam with flying colors. Every now and then, I still watch your videos when I need some clarifications or just to refresh my skills. You videos are always a big help. My go to refresher!!
    I pray that all is well with you!! 🙏 ❤️

    I love your video!! I think for intraverbal, the important part is to remember that it's used for items or situations not currently happening. For example, if the provider is pointing to the trampoline and saying "you jump on the _____" that would not qualify as an intraverbal. This is the part that I missed out and only recently figured out, so I hope this will help someone else! This is important because caregivers want to be able to say, "What happened at school today?" and receive a response.

      Mauricio Borda hello sir....u r sharing amazing info but can u make more videos like that can u tell us how to treat self stimulators behaviour

    • @ABAmadeeasy
      @ABAmadeeasy  Před 6 lety

      Hey Rushna, self stimulatory behavior is definitely something I will cover in a future video. But the basic idea is that you have to decide why you want to stop the behavior. Is it because it is impeding on learning or because others find it bothersome. I feel that if it isn't impeding learning, it should not be a high priority because it is a form of stress relief. If it does impede then an incompatible behavior should be prompted. So for example if a session cannot be run due to hand-flapping, then prompt the child to raise their hands or do another incompatible behavior to prevent it from occurring.
