She’s trying to get out of a life sentence blaming weed. No one on the history of this earth has ever responded to real marijuana like this. She must have had or smoked something else. Toxicology report should have been done at the time she was arrested to prove this.

unless like he said, some are already predisposed to go psychotic. i knew a friend, i found out he broke into someone's home, and attempted an assault on a friend . when asked about it he'd freak out and not be able to remember the incident or what happened. and i believe it- it seemed to be a one time incident, i'm not sure if it was weed or something else, because as i said when i asked him about it he couldn't answer what happened.

This question was answered decades ago. If there is a familial genetic history of Psychosis/Schizophrenia, than Weed can help trigger an episode because it's already existing. People with no family history of Psychosis/Schizophrenia and are healthy themselves are not developing Psychosis from weed. Check the legit research.

Chemicals and how they are cultivating it for higher THC are the major problems are my guess. Similar to the problems we have with grown food---chemicals, hybridization, and overprocessing.

I have said many times the marijuana today is different from the stuff people used when I was growing up. It affects and even the smell of the stuff today is stronger. I do not do it personally but I have been around people who have smoked it for years and even they say this about it. It's manipulated today, genetic modification is the problem.
I had not smoked any pot after 20 years of sobriety & 32 years of meditation.Tried it 3 years ago=THE NEW POT IS VERY DISORIENTING.
The pot that you grow outside has a balance of CBD and THC, if you only have THC then the chance of psychosis is possible.
Was she on meth? I have been around people on pot for years and have used it myself for years and the crazy things happen with alcohol or meth or cocaine in my experience.

@@gunsnsexdolls9800 I have never seen people do stuff like that on pot, however like I said, I believe the stuff today is much stronger than what it used to be. I tried some gummies while on a tip to Colorado due to my arthritis's, it helped, but I could see if someone took a bunch of that at one time and or mixed it with other things, it could be an issue, in fact that I think smoking it is probably way safer and easier to control than taking gummies. No matter what she took, she should spend time in jail for what she did to that man.

It definitely is! I started smoking in 95 what they call Reggie then smoked chronic in 99-early 2000’s & that weed made you laugh & gave you the munchies. I recently just quit at the end of 23 because this stuff they got out now makes you all serious & not hungry both indica & sativa. I was loosing weight! Started gaining weight back after I quit. Glad I got to experience it before it was tainted

For people thinking it's all a lie and weed is harmless:
Weed can induce psychosis that's a fact. If you don't belive in studies here's the real story (yeah you can say I am lying but whatever): my ex-gf got very intense psychotic episode (at 29, with no history of such before, with no relatives suffering from schizophrenia) after consuming weed like mad for approximately a month. It was classic, strong psychotic state with the lack of sleep and running around the city for several days. She ended up in clinic and stayed there for several months. She didn't stab anyone, though. But you know - stabbing is just an option while you think CIA or demiurg archons are here to kill you. You must understand that psychosis (if it will be induced) will persist even after the main effects of THC will fade away. So, this blissfull state you all probably like weed for won't be there if you'll get the psychosis. I won't try to persuade you not to use it at all - just be careful and give your mind time to rest between the sessions)

Firstly - any drug is addictive. God, even computer games are addictive. Anything pleasant and easy to achieve can become an addiction.
Secondly - If you read my first post to the end you'll find out I didn't even try to persuade people to give up smoking MJ. I just wanted them to be more careful and consume it responsibly. Though it will be better to completely quit or minimize the ammount.

Why did she suddenly start consuming marijuana "like mad" all the sudden and continue that behavior for a month prior to her break down. Sounds like something was already going wrong with her before she started consuming the cannabis. Correlation is not causation.
