- hey guys in this AC6 pvp video we are showing off the ducket and laser pistol build. it kinda half plays like vientos half plays like kite. it's super fun. deals a lot of impact for the stagger and a lot of damage with the auroras and laser pistol on the 20b. it also counters the s rank meta burzel zimms because you just out footwork them lol

Emphasis on the gun
One thing people forget about the FCS and their lock range, is that the lock speed dorsnt just suddenly jump from one setting to the next as you switch ranges (i.e. close 0-129, mid 130-259, etc.), they gradually rise/fall to the next one as you approach the next range bracket (i.e. the lock speed chnage has a window of about ±15yds around the range limits)
What this means is that FCS with more similar values (like TALBOT vs OCCELLUS, WLT vs P05) will change lock speed more gradually as your ranges change.
That's super interesting. Where did you find this out?
@@W1Robur through testing. Let's be clear, what I tried to describe above is that there is a window right around the range brackets about ±15m wide where the lock speed gradually changes between lock speed aptitudes. I said yards above because I'm a Yankee and we use yards! Sorry 😔
I also discovered firearm specialization has little if anything to do with how fast the reticle locks into the the target.
Weapon precision, projectile velocity, your AC's ability to accurately "lead" said projectile (this is what I believe firearm specialization deals with) all affect whether you hit the moving target.
@@calangel I am also american and shoot real guns, not sure why you felt compelled to add that part😅 but yeah I'd like to see some frame data analysis because to me it FEELS like it snaps to the other Stat. Really interesting concept though I hope someone on pc can data mine the code
@@calangel also, firearm specialization 100% does effect how fast your red reticle snaps on. I know this for a fact because it's obvious on bashos vs Lamm arms

6-Cell Missiles: they're really popular this patch because due to the missile guidance changes. Those happen to be the most consistent and break-even with the 10 cells and the four cells.
Not everyone wants to run plasma missiles even though they consistently hit. Vertical missiles are basically phased out because they don't have an explosion radius and builds are often too fast for them to hit.
So as far as a generic missile is concerned, those are up there with act missiles, the flanking missiles (ones that look like a ribcage) or hand missiles.
Every so often though, you will see people run funky or heavier missile setups.

@@W1Robur Mmhm. I tend to not run missiles anymore. As any MW/LW worth their salt is going to dodge them. Depending on the missile.
@@OugiEin there are almost no lightweights in S rank. Only Lamm rat, and the occasional ranetsu or viento. The 6 cell gives more flexibility than the huxley and I've been convinced it's better because it makes neb tank possible. It's also really good if you AB with your missiles. The more spinning plates at once you give your opponent the better.

@@W1Robur there's a few reasons I can think for that. One, most of the lightweights that I saw in s rank are not close range damage dealers. They are using rifles, long range weaponry, or they're slightly heavier and using heavier weaponry to deal with tankier setups while retaining their flight.
The Jap. Scene of course loves their heavyweight bipeds!

It's definitely good at range. The most busted build in the game (nebtank) uses 2 of them lol
nice, i love the 66LH i might give this a shot. climbed to promotion phase for A rank using your viento build but struggling more and more the higher i go.
To break into S you really need to master each matchup on vientos otherwise you'll hit a brick wall. You could also try swapping huxley for 6cell to get better matchup vs neb tank but you need to play super patient
First guy ran the "meta build I found on reddit" and still got smacked in unranked. He lost to a lightweight with a build designed to chew up lightweights. Feels bad XD

For this kinda style of play would you say its better to always try to stay in ricochet range for quad gats/dual huxley users? Ive been getting chased down by lighter setups running viento huxley and the like.
Vs gats you want to sit in ricochet range and let them overheat. Vs vientos just wait for them to start shooting, spam qb at an angle to them, then light them up while they reload, rinse and repeat.

Just wondering though, do you have any tips for fighting quad miniguns when using shotguns? My incendiary setup uses haldemen and I'm tired of ratting those people with napalms

@d0nat136 you can't really outrun the fcs it just locks back on and cooks you you need to sit in ricochet range until they burn out.

Etsujin is a great sidearm, idk about dual wielding tho. It was totally complimenting my LRA yesterday, but I changed to viento because kasuar legs demand less weight lol

@@-Bile-bashos compensate worthless stats by being beefy and extremely light, while hand missiles don't require any stats on arms to work with. They are pretty much made for each other

I don't think shoulder weapons are affected by your generator's energy damage buff, only hand weapons.
The aurora missile is absolutely effected by energy weapon specialization. It was adjusted to be so either in patch 1.03 or patch 1.04 but I can promise you it is. You can also test it yourself in training mode.

It would be interesting if they put in a missile system that could only launch one missile at a time. Had near perfect tracking would avoid buildings but was slow like the homing missiles. Like it would avoid the ground it would avoid the buildings it would try to go around stuff like it was a smart missile. But it was slow so basically it would never accidentally hit something unless you could trick it into hitting it by boosting off a wall at the last second or something. Like something that takes a lot of skill to dodge unless you're really really fast. And then have it hit like a truck
Kinda like the TOW missiles lol. They're really strong even without smartly dodging terrain because they just sneak up on you
@@W1Robur yeah I like the toe but so many missiles will just fucking track right into a building. They don't even like track out like they should sometimes like some of these missiles you would think you could lob them out and then they would hook around no they just immediately dive into the dirt. That's one of the problems with the homing missiles if you shoot them too close to the ground when they make the first corner sometimes they'll just dough dive down in the ground

Yup LCS have crazy uptime and are really hard to fight and the LCBs are straight lagcannons. Lasers need to be defender side, LCBs need to charge slower, and LCS need a huge cooling nerf.
the only "loser" is the person insulting others over a build they run. Its meta because its a super good build. if its meta you have to expect people using it. also you are in pubs: people go there to have fun.
Also super fast light weight isnt exactly "not-meta" either. so you are not someone to talk that kind of smack.
