      You know about two decades ago when I was in JFK airport, my friend and I were kinda looking lost outside the offices of SIA. Suddenly a staff came out and asked if we were from Singapore and offered to help us hold on to our luggages as we got like maybe hours to go before the flight home. So we went back to NYC for a few hours of sightseeing. It was a a very strange memory for me as I didn't understand why it happened

    Nice airport hotel. I've been to a few of them: in Copenhagen, Chicago, Belgrade, Frankfurt, and in Brussels, etc. The best one was in Copenhagen. There is something very special about hotels that are part of the interior of the airport. For one, you never leave that exclusive neutral international territory surrounding the duty-free shops and the airlines executive clubs... - so it seems like you are still in transit, even when you are sleeping or swimming. Also, if you are a First or a Business Class airline club member, as well as a high level hotel rewards member (I was Hilton Diamond Level, as well as both United First Class, SAS First Class, Delta First, and Star Alliance First (Singapore Airlines, British Air, Cathay Pacific, Thai, Korean, Swissair, Austrian Air, Turkish Air, Emirates, Lufthansa, and Air France, etc.). You can take advantage of any or all of these exclusive memberships on top of the amenities you receive by staying at the hotel itself. Things such as swimming pool and spa access, free breakfast buffet (which can be taken as room service), free massages, free alcoholic bar-drinks, free office services and conference room rental, free movies, free Michelin starred lunches and dinner in top club restaurant, complimentary his or her amenity kits, complimentary overnight toiletry kit, free mini-bar access, free concierge service, free limo to and from the city center, free Wi-Fi, free maps and guides, discounts on day tours or night excursions to see the sights or go to dinner or a club, free travel-thru baggage services for checked luggage, free Hotel Concierge Lounge access in hotel for drinks & snacks & services, plus other free amenities, etc. It's all worth it if you have a layover of 8 to 24 hours. It's like a mini adventure inside of your main trip.

      Hey Estenberg, thats exactly right yes feeling like you are in an airport but in 'luxury' and comfort just adds so much to the romance of flying. It definitely was a treat for us to do what we got to do. Seems like you are quite the traveler yourself so thank you so much for your time and your comment 🙏🏻❤️

      Not at all, all the terminals are connected by a train which is pretty quick or you can walk and get your steps in 😉

    Never leave your items unattended even in the airport. Anyone can just ran away with your bags.

    • @yutakago1736
      @yutakago1736 Před rokem +1

      You don't need to worry about others stealing the unattended luggage. Singapore airport is a safe place with cameras monitoring suspicious characters. However, the authority will panic when they spotted unattended luggage because they are worry it may contain a bomb. The police bomb disposal squad will bring the luggage to a safe place and use a small explosive to detonate the explosive in the luggage. In the words, your unattended luggage will be in small pieces.😂
