I always loved paint by numbers as a kid and I've revisted it as an adult. Love it. They have some great designs now.
Yea! And great quality too 😁
You can use white-out to cover up number, plus you can get flow aid to make the paint flow better when applying to canvas. Also if you use a clear gesso over canvas before starting to paint the paints cover better on the canvas. These tips I just recently learned from other youtubers and do work. I also got a brush repair fluid and you just dip brush in and then make it back into shape. Your skillshare pictures are lovely.

I've just ordered this one and can't wait to get it, I haven't done one since I was a kid. I'm thinking to make it look a little different, could a pallet knife be used to add more paint/texture, what do you think?

I was so excited to see that you were doing this Paint by Numbers because it is the next one that I already have waiting to be done. I loved the color palette as well and it just looks like a happy painting. The one thing that will be interesting to see is if the quality of the one I have, from a different company, is as good as the quality of the one that you had. Keeping my fingers crossed. :-) I loved your watercolors of the strawberry deserts.

I could not understand what you said about getting the paint to run smoothly across the canvas. Did you put some soapy water into the paints to get the paint to go on smoothly? Plz help!
Yep. It said in the kit to mix a bit of soap with the water. To clean ur brush and also to add to the paint 😊
I find myself spending as much time hunting the paint number as painting, to help I now take Sharpies and dot all the numbers for my next color. so I don't waste time hunting and keep my brush from drying out as much. Color sharpies so the transparent paint is no problem

@@Nianiani Thanks! I will try this because I have not been able to get ahold of Flow Aid by Liquitex, plus this is a much budget-friendly solution. I have looked for the class in Skillshare but I could not find it!

yes just the water with a tiny bit of soap :)

You mean to order? Mine didn't come with a frame, I'm guessing that it'd be a bit hard to ship, but you can go to the website to check if they do have that available or not :)
This is not how all their kits are delivered. I had a custom painting made by winnie picks and got three brushes the paints were all separated and in a bag. they also did not come in a nice case.
oh really? Sorry to hear that... Maybe they've upgrade it?.. Because they also took my criticism that I gave in the video into consideration. Maybe they're trying to still better improve the quality
