I’ve watched dune 2 it was alright not really my cup of tea definitely better than the first one, but yh I’m more interested in watching ghostbusters multiple times tbh
I’m actually quite interested to see how ghostbusters will fare how do you think it will do OMB? Overall I mean obviously it’s going to have a decent opening. Totally with you on the monster verse movies by the way and I love kaiju movies but these new ones just don’t work for me . Just find them boring which I think is criminal one thing these movies should not be is boring

I kinda feel bad for Dune 2 and Kung Fu Panda 4, because I think they should be making more money. But due to recent events over the last few years I think Movies will suffer more and more.
It will be interesting to see the difference between the ' domestic' and the ' overseas' box office between Dune and Panda 4. Undoubtedly we will get a Kung Fu Panda 5, 6, 7, Ad Infinitum in the future.
And these budgets are beyond insane. Then again Wokeflix is now paying 200 million for utter crap movies like Gray Man or Red Notice. When will they learn the Age of the Moviestar is over (& stop paying them obscene amounts of money !)
Finally saw Dune part 2, thought it was good but I definitely preferred the book. I don't understand how they cut out Thufir and put in chani's "friend. " I felt if they really wanted to give purpose for that made up character maybe she should've had what chani's role ended up being in the movie and just have chani remain the same from book or just cut her out and it wouldn't have made a difference. Kung Fu Panda 4 I didn't even realize how long it's been since the 3rd one. I remember liking the first 3 never thought about it needing a 4th. Interesting box office battle between the panda and sandworm .

Problem with dune 2 is china is the 3rd highest in international sales 😬 good film don’t get me wrong but I feel ghostbusters will do better

I saw American Society last night. Not even fun in a “so bad it’s good” or “how was this made” kind of way, just completely boring and unfunny.
Dune is also not performing very well Internationally compared to Oppenheimer. Oppenheimer’s International numbers were 1.9x of its Domestic. Dune is only 1.2x.
As of last weekend it was only 9% behind Oppenheimer WW at the same point of release. So it’s not bad
