Now that I've gotten the game 100% completed, I'm super excited to do a lot with this game moving forward. The badge system and the way the overworld works allows for a lot of super cool and unique challenges. I think if I combine what the game has to offer with some of the classic "raysfire spin", then there's a bright future ahead of us with this game.

I had done the Final Test before doing any of the Bowser levels, so that was the first time I had seen the ship and Missile Meg. When I got to the Bowser levels, I was like, "Oh... I think the game assumed I would do these first..."

Same here! I cleared it all pre-Bowser in hopes of a World-Star, World-Castle, etc. Like with a previous game.

I waited to 100% the game before watching other peoples' playthroughs, and I genuinely forgot that the playing online thing was an option
💀 beating the final final challenge without the help of standees was BRUTAL, but that final badge you get from beating it was well worth it :)
I might try and 100% it again with those online features, since the chaotic camaraderie (or lack thereof) seems like such a vibe!

It's saying something when someone who's barely played any mario for years, which was only casual can beat a level first try a pro died on like 20 times (and that's just the edited stuff...)

He used to be a top Mario Sunshine runner and he also did Mario 3d World and some SMM2 runs. In retrospect I probably should've put that somewhere in the video tho so I appreciate the feedback. It's also fair to expect higher level gameplay but to add more context at that point he's 12 hours into the stream the day before the game released.

This game is on a different level unlike anything we've seen from Mario before. I had all but lost interest in Mario ever since Super Mario World but this game has reinvigorated my interest. I hope to see a sequel.

This game really did take influence from Mario Maker... they took the music levels from Maker and made them into actual levels in the game but they aren't just auto levels.

He calls himself a pro and can’t even do the hippo stage in under three tries, saying he’s getting trolled even though he’s the one bouncing on his right side
And he keeps on getting carried by online players, bro cannot call himself a speed running pro when he can’t even beat the game without assists
He was able to beat the final level without assists, I just didn't put it in the video because it was repeated content. He is a former top sunshine runner and has runs in 3d world and SMM2. I probably should've had this mentioned that somewhere in the video so I 100% appreciate the feedback from you and the other people who mentioned this.
