I wouldn’t complain about there being too many sim racing games. Rather, the arcade action racers have slowly gone away. Burnout, Midnight Club, WipEout… gone. Need for Speed, Hot Wheels, Trackmania are here but they’ve either changed a lot, or there aren’t as many games. They either go too Arcady (Mario kart) or the game was designed around making money rather than being enjoyable.
Burnout paradise is a timeless masterpiece, i started playing it again and while its age certainly shows, it clearly knows its one of the best car games ever made and isnt afraid to show it

А что касается Split/Second и Blur, они даже когда вышли более 10 лет назад, являлись клонами Ridge Racer вперемешку с Burnout, ну и даже тогда прямо со старта ощущались вторично - максимально однотипные гонки без какого-либо разнообразия и постоянное самокопирование. Это весело и прикольно поностальгировать, посмотрев двухминутный ролик на Ютубе, но играть в эти аркадные гонки без физики и с деревянными машинами, а также приедающийся в первый час игры геймплей, на котором разрабы пытаются протащить всю игру, а тебя уже через пару часов начинает буквально тошнить от однообразия, нет, спасибо, не надо.

It is the same feeling I get with milsim. Insane frustration 70% of the time but that 30% , that glorious 30% , of epic moments only possible BECAUSE of the very same elements that frustrate me come together to make spectacles far better than any other offered. You just . Keep. Playing. Lol
Is it really that difficult? I have the PSP version, and I find it pretty easy, I even completed the entire career mode only using early game cars without much struggle. Maybe the AI on the PC and other consoles is much harder?
@@Jawslehoff somehow this game feels much more casual than PSP version because of literally one button press kills when crane targets your enemy for example. If I remember correctly, on PSP you didn't do it so easy, you were supposed to anticipate their movements and trigger explosions on the right time.
