I Put "Find Your Flame" From Sonic Frontiers Over Split/Second And...

- The sequel to the video nobody asked for, in which I put Sonic Frontiers music over random racing games of my choosing, in this case Split/Second Velocity, to try and make them as hype as possible. Why it took me over 1 month make another one after the first one where I used Undefeatable... lack of inspiration and motivation, but I'm starting to get my groove back. This time I used Find Your Flame over Dry Docks Elite race and honestly I think it fits like a glove.
Now to make this video even more spicier, I used the Split/Second Ultimate community imported DLC from the console version of the game that never made it to the PC version, which has improved audio as well as new cars. The car used here is the Cobretti Severus and to me it feels like the upgrade to the Cobretti Slipstream.

I want to try out hype songs from other popular games in random racing games, not just Sonic games since I wanna make the most of this little niche I have going for myself.

They're doing an elite race and the ai does not screw around in those it's basically a boss battle as a race.

This music is almost like DOOM music though, how the rhythm and intensity becomes integral with the playing. Watching other "music to Split/Second" videos, it almost seems timing your actions to the music generates better results, instead of spamming basic power plays anytime someone passes you. The music makes you play better.

lap 3 is always calmer because most of the traps are used, it sure gave a chill with this song.
fr each time they came back around to that ship in the spillway it ended up being incredibly epic every time

The last lap goes so hard. The music synced up with the other racers catching up and giving that feeling of there being stakes. So many goosebumps.

Paying 50 pounds/cents for this game was one of the best deals of my life, criminally underrated gem and it became my favorite arcade racing title with burnout revenge

Motorstorm Apocalypse did try but it was jailed to the ps3 so it also couldn't gain popularity.

Ok. This was a perfect track to play in the background of this gameplay. Beat first dropped when you activated a route change, final verse started when racers caught up to you. It was flawless. Every second of it.

Everything is so well done especially the chorus dropping at the adrenaline pumping moments to the the other racers catching up at the last verse.

This is probably the best cover song I've done. The action? Timing? The synchronization with the music and the game? Wherever I've seen the potential to drop along with the music is there. Plus, I think this map fits best with the music. I was expecting a double solo at the end because I didn't think you could do it with one solo. You surprised me quite a bit. I had a real goosebump. I definitely appreciate your work.

It's a small thing but I enjoy it a lot when the pyrotechnics activates hitting the finish line with the final lyric. "You'll find your flame". Absolutely charming to me.

I tried my own hand at playing break through it all whilst playing the first mission where you have to avoid helicopter missles and it fits perfectly. Its crazy how the two games go together

And I love the Cobretti Severus (the one you used here) because it behaves exactly like the Slipstream - If you can keep it not-drifting, it is immensely faster. With a keyboard, you have to tap the turn keys to avoid oversteering, but it works, and exceptionally well.
The *_Cobretti Severus_* is such a beautiful car as well, especially when you’re driving and jumping through broken buildings. 😁

that entire race was absolutely nuts! they are casually racing as everything around them breaks, like you cant predict what comes next
I love how at the end the car's engine is getting louder and louder while going up. As if it's pushing more and more speed to state it's all or nothing. That was probably the best small detail I loved

I'm not a racing game guy, so maybe this relatively common, but the camera tilting as you go into the drift is so nice. It really makes you feel the weight and speed. I wish stuff like that was more common in games.
Not as common as you might expect but you're right about how camera tilting adds to the speed and weight of the car.

I still play this game a lot, it really sucks that it will never get its sequel. This is my favorite game by far over any other game. I literally have so many hours on this game, i am top 400 - 500 on every single track. Love this game, great video man. Appreciate the light you are putting on this Legendary game.
