Feyd has one redeeming quality in the movie: he’s an honorable fighter, and respects those who can match his skill
I have to agree, even if you can say that the honor is connected to him wanting to prove his domination over an opponent, there's not much satisfaction if you didn't prove yourself that you were better, I enjoyed that part of him

I think it is just because of thei Bene Gesserit powers, their have certains powers on the minds of people, I didnt know she was a Bene Gesserit at first but he understood that after startimg talking to her, at one moment you can see her talking to her using telepathy, Lady Margot made him take the Gom Jabbar test instead of the reverend mother because she his more of a mother figure, and since Feyd killed his mother, she did not think it would have went well if it was her.
Also, it looks like you might speak French, we can also speak in that language if you want to.
