Scott’s videos are such an interesting experience: the review parts are actually well argued and presented, and then the stories are like I’m having a stroke while high on acid.
I love how the scene of Steel Wool and Chet Shaft being resurrected was kind of like a hint as to what was going to happen in the 2021 Halloween episode

The most horrifying thing Scott has ever worn now is officially a blank white T-shirt with a large colored print out of Madden 09 zip-tied to the front of the shirt, with the shirt deliberately stuffed into the beige jeans.

The part discussing memory cards for the Xbox 360 at 13:06 makes me remember how my friend and I didn't play online at all, nor did we have memory cards, but we wanted to play each other's games. What did we do? We just popped the hard drive out of the top and threw it in our backpack for when we visited one another. I honestly loved that feature.

I may be horrible wrong here but I think the depressed line is in reference that later pirate guy shows up a bag of onions, after that, wendy's guy says "language!" right before scott says the F word, this means wendy's guy can foresee 2 lines ahead in the future

I've only watched it 20 times myself, so Scott is definitely better at it than me.
The pumpkin skit is possibly my favorite Woz skit. It’s great joke after great joke.
Watching this made me remember about the time I had a PS2 without a memory card, and the only game I had was Kingdom Hearts II. I replayed the game multiple times, desperate to get more bits of the story every time (because I was, and still am, really into it). Looking back, I get a bit of nostalgia, but having a memory card is just so much better anyway.

Scott really should have adopted his pumpkin from a shelter instead of buying a new one. So many pumpkins get abandoned and forgotten at these shelters, and if they aren't adopted in a certain time period they are taken out back and smashed
thats why i go with no smash pumpkin shelters so they can't just smash the pumpkins since they were planning at making at least 100 bucks on some of them so they give them to the no smash shelters

Something to note about the 360 situation, hard drives were stupid expensive, with the 120 gig hard drive launching at 180 bucks. The memory card served as a great way to just store saves for someone who didn’t care about installing games to the hard drive. Most retail games didn’t make it digital on the 360 until 2009-2011, and XBLA games had size limits to allow them to fit onto a memory card, so unless you were dedicated enough to spend a lot of money just to reduce load times and have a quieter system, memory cards actually had a place. By 2010 a hard drive was becoming more necessary though, so HDDs became cheaper and the memory card left.
They served their purpose well while they were helpful, and left when they weren’t. That’s respectable.

Actually, in the metric system you would measure by megaseconds which are approximately 1/31 of a year or 3.2% of a year. A two year warranty would be 62 megaseconds.
“I’m gonna be throwing my first party in 4 years...” in his Mario Party video, he makes a joke about not being able to think of anything better to do than throw a party, so he thinks for it for 4 years, before finally deciding to throw his party. I cannot believe how genius Scott is with his writing, and he does it so subtly that it took me a few watches of this video to realize it. That’s just really cool.
