Montreal has a "reputation" for going after top young players that need a coach who understands growing pains, etc. If you ask yourself who is more important -- Kent Hughes or Martin St Louis -- the honest answer is they are both key to this team growing into a Cup holder again.
I agree, Hughes & St-Louis are both important.
I think Utah will keep getting the young talent and may trade a few for veterans to help mentor and fill gaps. Fingers crossed the 7.5% for the top pick works out for Utah.

What's the draft format for next year? 🤔
The Flyers have EIGHT picks in the first two rounds (four 1st's, four 2nd's) in this year and next years draft so they need to maximize this draft capital to build the future nucleus for the Michkov era!!! Hopefully they can start with Tij Inginla, Cole Eiserman or Konsta Helenius @ 12 this year :-)
I have a feeling Tij might break into the top ten. His stock has risen a ton the past couple of months.

@@oasisbeyond I can see that happening. If the Ducks fall to fourth or fifth in the draft and miss out on Lindstrom or Levshunov I can see them taking Tig. He has a lot of what Verbeek likes.
Robbi Fabbri could be traded at the draft for cap space and a roster spot.
As a diehard Blackhawks fan I'm very excited with what Kyle Davidson is going to do! We have lot of draft picks this year (potential for 1st overall again)
While I'm not saying that he is the best, I think David Quinn is a Scapegoat wherever he has gone, even though he coached Bad Teams, with Very Decent Results. With My Rangers, he did quite well & coached Adam Fox to A Norris Trophy. With The San Jose Sharks, he has also coached Erik Karlsson to A Norris Trophy. David Quinn seems to be A Coach that will put his best players on the ice, whether or not he's not really developing young players in a direct manner & develops the players indirectly. He's also kept these Bad Teams in near each & every game. I'd like to know what you think, even the fact, by what you said, I think that you agree with me.

Briere & co are desperate for a young C with top 6 potential. A rare commodity. I'd love to see them take Konsta Helenius if he's avail at 12. I can see them going after Zegras in hockey trade w/other assets involved. Word is Morgan Frost's value around the league is soft. Don't know if he'll be back, but I'm convinced Briere, Torts, et al don't see him as a top 6 guy.

He’s the defacto 1C as of now. I could see him as a 2 or 3, but flyers need a 1 bad. That being said I don’t see Zegras as that guy

@@mariovaccarella6854 Yes its random but its super shady because they dont do that live. Its still hard to see that league biggest superstar McDavid would been thrown to edmonton if its rigged. Chigaco has been bad for 6-7 years so its logical they get high picks and people are always salty. Buffalo have been drafting top 10 for a decade and still cant get anything done
Ottawa Senators are Due,they haven't got first overall since 1996 Chris Phillips, it will be nice if Ottawa Senators trade for another first round pick, trade Josh Noris, much I like his career, it's time move on from him and get a goalie and right side defenseman, ,it's very risky but if I was a GM the first thing is trade for the goalie right away
