One thing I love about your films is that if someone just blindly showed me this one, I'd know it's from Buried Hatchet Productions. You guys have your own film style that is just so eerie and artistic...it's completely immersive! Keep up the amazing work 💜
Hi wimdom
Aw thank you guys so much, it means a lot to us!! I’m super glad our style is distinctive, and I’m really happy you guys enjoyed this one!!
@@Platagonmax hi!
@@BuriedHatchetProductions Of course! We constantly notice improvement every month in your films and we LOVE to see it
@@BuriedHatchetProductions This plot was written well enough to do so, ie donate. Just didnt have the money. Back story was good enough for an actual movie plot, if its reworked properly. Hats off my good man,
Having the camera creep over like it's the audience trying to get a better look at 2:14 is such an underrated move. I'm also a sucker for some fancy credits lol, nice work BHP!
Thanks Landon! POV are my favorite, I’m glad it’s working out to continue using them!
I'm ditzy enough to crane my neck to try seeing behind people on screen so...yeah. Was pretty cool
At the end, I'd be like "At least let me AXE ya'll a question... no?"
Loved the hidden details in here. Noticed some background stuff that was thoroughly appreciated. Good job BHP!
Much appreciated as always Dylan! Trying to plan more hidden details in the background so I'm glad its paying off!
Good morning
I've been inspired to include an axe in all my family pictures, going forward!
That’s a great idea going forward hahahaa!
Love how you guys limit the talking in your videos and allow the background noises or other noises do the talking. Great job. Makes it super unsettling, especially at night.
The appearance and the screen time of the family was extremely good - especially the last scene was grande fantastico!! ....and: no tree was injured in this film :-)
Thank you so much! Glad you like it!!
Great job! Yall killed it! 🔥
A young man lived this house of the four Lumberjacks who died in the past!
Love these set builds you guys are doing!
Glad you enjoy it! They have been super fun to work with on set, it makes the filming feel so much more professional than just a low budget short!
This was phenomenal
Amazing job, guys! You knocked it out of the park once again!
Thank you as always !!
SO MUCH TALENT!!! NEVER DISAPPOINTED WITH BHP ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS!!! WOULD LOVE TO SEE BHP DO A FULL LENGTH FILM!!
Great Short horror. They do say some things are meant to be left hidden or trapped but human curiosity always gets the better of us
I really loved this one can’t wait to see the next one 🤩🍿
Thanks so much for being loyal and always watching our stuff! So glad you enjoyed!
This short horror story freaked me out! Great Job!!!
Bravo! Very scary and your lead actor was very good! Good job by all involved!
Thank you again! We hope you enjoy the rest of our shorts on you binge watch!
Another banger! Well done 😊
Awesome! The build-up to the grim details was paced well and each clue had an added impact. “They weren’t just lumberjacks anymore…” 🪓
So glad to have you help write it, and do the voice acting! You killed it!
You know how I know this is fake? No guy cleaning would clean under that rug 😂
This one is EPIC everyone!!
fantastic short. well done to all involved
That was scary . I love your films.
How could he live in the house for so long and never see the hatch?
Very well done, folks! Totally creepy ghost story.
Thank you!
Fantastic job all around! The acting, the cinematography, the atmosphere were all top notch. Even the plot was off the beaten path, which you don't find much of anymore. Everything has pretty much been done, and you still found something unique. Kudos! The ending was a bit predictable, but you even nailed that. Keep them coming!
wait... that's dude what got skewered by a sword!!!
I got him again! 😂
@@TH3ORY2.0 hehe
I'm in love with these movies ❤❤ keep it up YES ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ 🎉🎉🎉
You never disappoint.
Mostly well done.
Two quibbles related to time passing: First, the yellowing on the photo package should fade after so many years. Second, if the tree was about that thick in the 1930s, the tree now should be much wider.
Unless they’re supernatural items of course.
The worlds worst flashlights can be found in horror flicks.
Great short horror
He didnt know about the trap door in his own house.
Can't wait! So looking forward to this!🥺😟🖤❤
I’m addicted now
I loved this plus rhose puctures that he was looking at were creepy were those reallife crew members in those photos. Great work here
Thank you very much!
hats off well done
Great film!
Who see the women at 6:21 standing behind him 😮😮
Good eye!
I thought it was one of the lumberjack’s?🤔
Sorry. I literally just spotted her😳
Well, did you notice the man over in the window, at 6:36 ?😳🫣
These are really good
Loved it!
AWESOME
Kinda gives me vibes from the movie Sinister when the guy looks at creepy pics
I can see that! We actually have an older short titled “Slideshow” that is pretty inspired by sinister, you should check it out!
@@BuriedHatchetProductions I think I’ve seen it
That was cool 👍👍
Thanks!
Thank you for the donation!!
U guys are the best i love all your films
It's sad about the baby.😞Should he not also grab a knife or gun ??😲
club haunted house's new renovations are looking good, now if I can only get in and not be stuck in the line.
Nice suspense.
beautiful achievement
😮so scary
why don't you turn on the lights in horror movies? is it to save money?😂
👍The end😨🥺
i wonder if its an dormant genetic transformation (similiar to the Genetic-morph of insmouth's Fish-Folk, jusr called Fey/Alfar DNA in Europe, and other names and sub-variations in other places) that been trigger by grave injury or "death" = or actually, in some, stasis-comatose state of an nymph in a chrysalis, that remind burial in general and mummification and the sarcophagus practices around the world)
The story is charmingly Jamesian, I could see him writing something much like this!
NeXT short horror film the dark house
Ahhh 😂😂😂😂 what was it???😂😂😂😂
This movie kinda doesn't know what it wants to be.
This is a little too slow moving for me. It really drags a lot. Sorry about that.
Sorry, there are many houses surrounding you. Not isolated, nor scary.
Wouldn't that make it creepier? People are right out of your reach, but it's too late and you can't escape😵
House containing a trap door with 1930's pictures of "previous occupants" presumably.
THE HOUSE HAS VINYL SIDING! 😂
And I'm also assuming that the neighborhood grew around the house in the past 85 to 90 yrs...
There is such a thing as renovations as new tenants take over a space within the decades. It's fairly common lol And it's not too far fetched for a neighborhood to grow. I've seen a lot of changes within 3 years of living in my space.
@globorrero1095 now you are just pulling at strings. This clip, and your comment are completely sped 🥴
