Just to clear up some confusion, the person in the previous recordings is NOT the main character. As the description says, he comes home from a business trip so those previous days he was not there, and needed someone to watch over the house. He is simply looking back at those tapes of the dog sitter. Hope that clears up some confusion.
I doubt they used tapes to record.

The ‘entity’ using the piano to build suspense is absolutely hilarious lol.
For sure! It’s one of my favorite ways we built suspense in this film, and was really fun to achieve.

Pretty good. I like the lack of jump scares. Keeping the attention on the protagonist rather than on the scary thing really worked well for building suspense.
Thanks for the kind words! When writing it I was going for more of a big suspense build rather than unnecessary jump scares, so thanks for noticing that!

Motion detected, had wonderful pacing. In addition, the music added tension to the overall ambiance of the film. Although it was short I can tell the film took a long time to produce, especially with the usage of your special effects.

Between the concept, the production, the acting, the scoring...I was holding my breath the entire time. The transition shot from the sitter being pulled away to the home owner jumping back was so clever. I loved it all

I woke up early today just to watch this film and it didn't disappoint me! It was super suspenseful! Probably because the score and its obvious handheld camera moves. Talk about the score, I think this is the best one yet from Frank! His acting has improved a lot here I can say. Your direction is also one of the best things about this film too! You didn't waste any second and yet you still managed to stretch the tension as long as the film needed.
Im thinking of getting Dormani Home Security but after watching this I was like nevermind

Ghosts are so tech savvy these days, no more creaking doors, leaking taps, flickering candles, swaying chair, these days they go like-"I have given enough warning to this moron, now I will just run some codes, forcing him to restart the device."

This Is Amazing, I was tense the whole time because the character was not speaking so it made the audience almost try to guess his emotions
i would have shiit my pants the moment I see that image. The acting could have been improved though.

@@BuriedHatchetProductions What do you mean by “record into”? Do you record with both at the same time?
So since the rode mic is a shotgun mic, it needs something to record into via XLR cable. You can also record straight into your camera but the audio is not nearly as crisp as it is when recording into a separate audio interface like the Tascam. So when using a male to female XLR cable, it connects the mic into the recorder. Hope that helps a bit, and any other questions let me know.
Yes you can also record with just the tascam. Definitely a less expensive alternative, and I have tested it before and the sound quality is still great, especially if you are close to the sound you want to record.

This was absolutely WICKED, and if anyone is reading this comment before watching the film you’re absolutely lame, because I couldn’t afford looking away from this beautiful ride (I guess that counts as a spoiler warning?) That fall was UNBELIEVABLE. The editing in this one just outcompetes your other work, and I’m super jelly because I can’t edit shit! Great job guys! Also, that’s score 😌👌 Frank knows his way around music & sound.
