There was this one time in 2015 (I was 15 back then) when I texted you on Facebook telling you how much I enjoy your videos and you answered me. It was the first time I texted someone in a language I still learned and you even said my English is great which motivated me to actually study it even in my free time not just for school!! And I freaked out that you answered me!! It is still by far the best moment in my life 😂😂

It's so crazy to see Connor as such a big streamer because I've been around since he was that voice acting guy with a couple hundred thousand subs that did Sebastian impressions that made teenage girls swoon. I'm really impressed by how far he's come and I'm proud to still be a fan, even if I don't watch stream content.
Yeah, it's so weird seeing him collab with big channels that I've always known to have large followings. Really nice to see him explode and get the audience he most definitely deserves!
I subbed around the time he started collabing with Emily and getting others to re-dub old animes, so I'm not as old-school as some of you other fans aha.

I used to want to be a VTuber, and to this day I like to put myself in fictional characters' shoes by voice acting and such, but I can't stand it when the full grown mom with 4 kids furry racoon girl has a high pitched loli voice just because it's a popular thing to do or people thirst over it or some shit and in reality her normal voice would fit the character much more

Yeah, I don't think I'll ever get tired of him either. Plus not only is his content hilarious, but I love that he's a chill, thoughtful guy. I dont know him personally of course, but the way he acts feels like it's not just for the camera or to take advantage of people

18:29 same bro. I lived in Japan for one and half years back in my unidays, from early 2009 to end of 2010... took me at least 5 months to stop bowing and sumimasen-ing. But to this day I say "un" in a conversation to indicate I am listening and I realize you, Garnt and of course Joey are doing this all the time! I just smile when I hear you guys do that, because it is something you get so used to when living in Nihon and it seems quite hard to shake off. Gawd, I miss Japan so much.

At least around where I was, most folks had physical button phones still and smartphones were relatively uncommon. Fond memories of being lost with a physical map and taking refuge at a Boss coffee machine with Tommy Lee Jones’ smiling face guiding me. 😅

Ive had a old japanese couple drive me to the train station about 45 minutes away from where i was. in the middle of nowhere and they decided to show me some cool places aswell so it turned into a small road trip which was amazing. So i can definitely say its not a understatement to say they are truly nice to you and willing to help out.

I fucking hate the lottery system. I bought my flights and hotels early because it's cheaper. Never got the tickets. Luckily I found some tickets for sale from people that got too many. From my experience, you CAN sell concert tickets if YOU'RE also there. You just have to make the staff think the person you sold it to is +1.
