@@king_city_fx2819 Most big teams have CDMs, but some of them play without one, Liverpool when everyone is fit plays without one, inter milan plays with calhanoglu as their deepest player, even though he more of a 10, newcastle plays with guimaraes who's more of an 8 than a 6, Dortmund sometimes plays with Reus, Sabitzer and Brandt as a midfield. If the midfield can press well enough as a unit you don't need a CDM, which is what liverpool were doing when Fabinho was unavailable and had to play Milner and Henderson

not really tbh. Porto has infinite times more legacy in the UCL than Arsenal. They've also regularly been competing in the competition. This is Arsenal's first UCL in 7 years. Also this is the first time they've reached the QF in 14 years. There was a mental block that needed to be broken. And Arsenal struggled mostly because its different styles of play. Porto's gameplan was brilliant. Let's see how this Arsenal team does against big teams.

For the last 3 champions league season we’ve had the hardest games in each round always go to Barca think back when we got eliminated in groups cuz we had Bayern and inter from the jump
