I can’t lie, this is amazing
I’m not sure if trombonist Fields had much to do with this band other than lending his name to it. The Rendezvous Records house band had various names depending on style: Ernie Fields Orchestra for rocked-up big band tunes, Piltdown Men for rocked-up TV themes, B.Bumble & The Stingers for rocked-up classical, Mar-Kets for surfing’ tunes, and so on. Pretty much all the same personnel.
