    What shoes did you wear? Do you need a stiff sole with good tread for this or can you get away with normal running shoes? I have nine Pegasus trail but the tread is pretty worn at this point from running so much and wasn’t fabulous in the mountains to begin with. This run is definitely on my bucket list :)

      The Hoka Speedgoat worked great! You definitely need some but the terrain isn't horrible. The path is well maintained the whole way and traction isn't much of an issue.

    Any chance you can post the gpx file from this activity? Trying to do this route this weekend.

    Are you able to park at the trailhead, or do you need to take a shuttle?

    • @BeerMileMedia
      @BeerMileMedia  Před 2 lety

      You can park at the trailhead if you have a parking permit, which you need to purchase well in advance on their website. The shuttle is the other option but it kind of sucks for doing the loop because you don't get there early enough in the morning. You can also have someone drop you off at the trailhead and not park if you have an extra person willing to do that
