- Zhongli, The Geo Archon, in a brand new wishing animation! (honestly I'm running out of ideas on what to say in the description)

I might be changing back the glare that glows in the beginning back to the original color since I feel it spoils the reveal a bit too early (even though the music itself already spoils it but you know....)

These definitely give that spice to the gacha animation like its a double edged sword It could be massive hype for when u win 50/50 and like a hug slap to the face when u lose
It'd probably be better if they only didn't play the animation on limited event banners for the standard 5 stars and only play when you're pulling on the standard banner

i think the impression will be much deeper if the voice came first after the yellow star animation.
this is too long and we can guess it from the beginning.

@@gin-chan6660 It's a matter of opinion, not fact in this situation. Music is subjective, and unless it's the same genre you just can't compare between two pieces of song. We're just giving our opinions, and in mine, Raiden's sounds a lot more hype and better showcases her personality. While Zhongli's does a good job of that, having chinese themes modernized to represent him becoming "human", Raiden's is split into 3 parts, since there are 3 Raidens. A soft melody at the beginning to represent Makoto, an intense and serious beat in the middle to represent the Raiden Shogun puppet and a sad theme at the end to represent Beelzebul. In my honest opinion, it gives a lot more justice to her character without sacrificing how good it sounds.

I would love Zhongli's theme to play when I switch to him...but that's only a dream :(

These kinda animations should become official, it really adds a lot of hype to the machanics.
Goodluck to mobile players who has to download ~6gb of videos just for a wish animation that rarely happens in a game

@@rajadarshidash1016 most devices on mobile can barely handle genshin, it's probbably impractical.
I'm not saying it is bad or anything, i would love to have these animations in game. I'm just kind of making an educated guess on why mihoyo probbably chose not to implement it on a game design perspective.

Also ngl, this animation resembles to Alchemy Stars in a way.
How you introduce the region, then the constellation, and the catchphrase, and bam, the character.
Alchemy Stars' 6* summon does this similar but shorter. They show the alliances, then forms the star and bam, the faction, and there the character is.

This animation is making me super hyped to get my Zhongli. Grinding his stuff right now, got all his cor lapis, half his books and materials and ready to grind his domain.

Reminds me of when I used to play Magia Record. The animations make getting a five-star feel a bit more special.
Bro if the excitement of getting the 5* that I wanted wasn’t enough, if this was actually the pull animation, the beat drop would’ve probably killed me. I love it.

These are the coolest things. I think it would add more excitement to get a five star. Plus all the extra little things you put it in like which nation they’re from, a brief teaser before their reveal, and then their music playing with the splash art. Super awesome, hope you do all the five stars, and can’t wait to see who’s next

You could tell that u won/lost the 50/50 from these animation (if they were added in the game)
Just now after over 2 years of playing genshin I finally got Zhongli as a person who doesn’t even have a stable income to get welkin let alone primos. I started because I wanted Zhongli, but after all this time I now have most of the people I have wanted. I remember the earliest event 5 star I got was Yae miko all the way at her first release. I found out quickly that I needed to play more to get the boss drops for her later. Besides her, I have obtained Jean, diluc, and c1 qiqi, Jean was on standard banner, diluc came when I wanted Ayato, and 1 qiqi was from standard and the other was from ayaka banner. I got tighnari right after his event banner left and I can’t remember who was after that, but I also got Alhaitham, and kazuha. Now I have Zhongli and I can’t wait to try to raise him. Now i can use him for my geo team as well so I can start attempting the spiral abyss. It’s been a fun time and I hope to experience it longer. Maybe I’ll have good luck and be able to get neuvelette (idk how to spell it)

as someone who accidentally got their zhongli, I wouldn't have hated him as much if I got this amazing animation when I got him.
