  • Today we take a look at the what about me effect. This is basically when people think a tiktok or reel or anything online is specifically talking about them just because it pops up on their For You page because people are EGOTISTIC.

I’ll never get over Twitter blasting that one girl for just saying she liked spending her mornings drinking coffee with her husband, that was what really proved to me that Twitter is the angriest and most miserable social media 💀

  • @reirei1861

Unrealistic life style? Girl is drinking coffee and chatting with her husband is it that Unrealistic to you? JEALOUSY 💀💀

  • @Ladynilow

I saw an Instagram of a pregnant lady, someone asked what gender she wanted, she said “ it doesn’t matter, just a healthy baby is all I care about “ so many people came for her saying what about unhealthy babies, whats wrong with them 😂😂😂 I was flabbergasted, some came out with their disability stories to make her feel bad for wanting a healthy bby

  • @baoziday5178

The people on Instagram calling the couple “unattractive” are really reaching and projecting so hard. 😭😭 Like, why do people just absolutely despise healthy relationships?

“its my wedding i want people to be on time” WHAT IF TIME BLINDNESS GIRL IS COMING??? WHERE ARE THE ACCOMMODATIONS?????!!!!

  • @Yi-Zhu.Lou.

When I did eye makeup tutorials on instagram, 70% of the comments were “this only works for Asians” “but I don’t have the eye shape”… really tempting to just say “not my problem”

  • @troiennist1410

"YOU DON'T NEED IT BECAUSE I LOOK YOUNG" I just died laughing! 😂

  • @Reikoikura

As a woman, the most common "wam effect" is the infamous "idk how you can wear that much makeup, i could never"

  • @girlinwonderland768

I love the way our bestie insults us in every one of his videos and I LIVE FOR IT 😂

  • @nassima.a

Seeing how people can be so entitled, mean, and out of sense, purposely hurting people for their own mind confort, is something really ugly, makes me lose faith in humans cohesion tbh

THE "What about disabled people?" ONE IS SO COMMON

  • @chloemay3658

I was on tiktok watching a well known makeup influencer say how she like to put the product on her hand and apply a product with her finger rather than a brush or sponge or direct from the tide.

  • @sunb5738

It's like whataboutism but just centered on their little self, god i hate it so much 💀

  • @Brynnecolson

The one about the woman cooking a meal for her neighbors broke my heart. That’s genuine care and kindness, something we lack these days, and it’s been twisted into being an act of judgment and intrusion. Legit, has no one ever done anything nice for those angry people?

  • @snowyVixXue

The jealousy radiating off of social media is just too much. Is no one allowed to be happy or even suggest advice and/or recipes. This is sickening

Unfortunately, this is how almost every instagram comment section looks like

A few years ago, there was this twitter post that went viral in Brazil: a girl wrote that she had been feeling sad all day, and her dad was trying to cheer her up, so he bought lots of her favorite ice cream (from a kinda expensive brand) as a gift. Cute, right?

  • @jessicacontext3805

I think my dad's most said sentence this year is "basically every delulu person has internet access now, what do you expect" I mean I see his point 💀
