The most unbelievable thing for me, is that someone suddenly gets superpower that defy the laws of physics, and no one cares, there would be governments trying to get to the bottom of this, some would try to kidnap him, some would throw millions of dollars at him to get him to cooperate. The moment it was found out that he was the real deal the whole "demolish the place thing" would be thrown out the window as bigger fish enter the fray.
Trying to kidnap him? No one could subdue him. Throw millions at him? That woman tried to buy him out and he turned her down.
@@jenniferhamels1176 Subdue him? that would be easy, he has psychokinesis but he doesn't seems to have supernatural senses, he can be tranquilized from a safe distance, and even if they can't he has to sleep eventually.
"That woman" indeed tried to buy him but she didn't give him what he wanted, the neighborhood? he can keep it, money for all the neighbors? done, university for her daughter? she can attend the best one in the world.

I love how south Korean movie is all about common people and their day to day problems and stories are unique.
It's really strange to me that the lawyer doesn't know how to get more evidence. All he needed to do was buy a Samsung phone and record everything that happens. Even without context, that scene of the construction company beating people up with sticks is very damning, especially since they all wore the same thing.

i like how this film contains a story about working class people fighting against the owning class trying to push them out of their homes, something thats happened often throughout history. its a good story about class solidarity and how the government will always side with capitalist interests, hence the police “legally” helping the corporate thugs to destroy their homes/businesses

It's easy to forget when you're watching superpowered people planning a incursion through an interdimensional portal and someone says they're going to carbon date the silicon and you know, in your heard of hearts, they meant radiometric dating because silicon isn't carbon and you lose any illusion that the smart people in the show are smart and suddenly it's all just acting and you hate everything. Don't go down this road, there are only dark things here.

it's crazy to watch people "push" things with their mind in the movies, I've had a couple incidents where I got up real fast, usually in a bad mood and things that were lying beside me went flying, It resembles the actual thing when they do it in the movies, I have no doubts people with varying degrees of abilities exist that have done more than I have with them, of course I doubt they got it like in the movies, but it does happen.
