Yes, these profile 3D planes float like kites!
I think just 1-2mph more wind and it would have hovered horizontally.
Definitely not for windy days.

Do you know if the plane comes with the Bluetooth version of this controller? I'd like to program it using my android phone

Mine came with the T8S (Non-Bluetooth Version).
I configured mine via the computer app.
Having the Bluetooth version is a plus as you can change the parameters in the field.
Where did you get the different wheels from?

They're very light wheels that are 36mm in diameter and 8mm in width.

Yes, vertical mode takeoff. I knew you could do it. Now for the vertical mode landing grabbing it mid-air.
Hopefully I can get good enough to hover much closer to the ground.

Question, did you ever have an issue with the JST I think it's called, the battery connector in the plane has open wires, going to post another video soon. Thank you for what you do for the hobby!

No, no problems with the Red JST Connector.
I've used those connectors a lot and have fabricated a few.
They work well for power systems pulling 10A or less.

@@capnhardway Oh, you mean you have a wire exposed on your JST Plug? A bad crimp?
Yes, when I say fabricate, I have JST Pins, Shrouds, and a Crimper so I can make my own.
Or make repairs.
The liquid electrical tape they sell in hardware stores works great for problems like that as well.

@@GroundControlRC ahh, liquid electrical tape? COOL, never heard of that. Yes, the wires going into the JST are exposed. At one point I saw them arching between. That's when I taped it. See you in the air!
I had an old Tribute 940mm Profile Kit (never flown)... These A560 videos of yours got me off my butt and I modified the Tribute with a Brushless Motor and a Byme-A and an R161 RX. Now just waiting for some low wind conditions.

How much does the plane itself weigh?
My A560 weighs 167g with everything but the LIPO.

I take that back, I did have to replace the O-ring once that hold the prop.
