Great class. Thank you.
Dear Kathleen, restorative sessions bring us much needed peace and quietness of the body and mind. Practice at least once a week for culturing the mind, relaxing the nervous system and allowing yourself to receive the breath.
Lovely

Blessings and thanks…Namaste
thanks for the class. i was feeling very anxious and decided to do it. now i feel calm and more grounded
Well done! It's always that first step that is the most difficult. Resting the mind and nervous system via the breath is so comforting and healing. There should be a few more choices in Desa Yogi library in case you missed them.
Namaste. ❤️❤️
Iam beginning to enjoy yoga after I started following your videos. You have no idea how valuable your videos are to me.
my greatest joy is you have benefits from your practice that will enhance your daily life. Yoga is a small seed when planted and given time will grow and blossom.
Remember any of these restorative asanas may be done separately when you have limited time but still want to give yourself a gift of time, space, and inner peace 🙏🏽
🙏❤️
🌺❤️🙏🏻
I feel much better! Thank you for this video 💛
Dear Kathryn, all my best to you. Use this practice as often as needed, at least once a week.
Always good to give to ourselves, especially when we don’t think we need it. Namaste XX

Before I didnt find Iyengar easy at all, i needed to find my flexibility. I find this lesson very interesting and dynamic. Namaste
Hi Emanuel, We all must listen to our body and take one step at a time. All my best. Namaste
🙏🙇♀️💝
Thank you Kajal for tuning in. Good to see you again:-)
Thank you so much for sharing this video, Kathy. This is really helpful. Next time if you visit Taiwan, I will definitely go to your class. :) Looking forward to seeing you soon.
Hi Ying, so nice to hear from you! Will definitely be back and looking forward to meeting you. ❤️❤️🙏🏻
Great class! I would love if you could offer a viable alternative to poses involving two bolsters. I can imagine there are many like me that has a good amount of yoga props, including chair, but only one bolster😉
Hi Nora, I suggest getting firm towels or blankets and rolling them into a bloster shape. If you have an extra sticky mat this can also provide more height.
Another way to raise the bolster height is to place 2 lengthwise bricks beneath. You could also use books. I invite you to look around your house for whatever will have the same effect. Even cushions for your couch could work. Experiment and find new ways to adapt! :):) Namaste, Kathy
Namaskar. Stumbled upon your video today when quite fatigued. Followed 3 poses and felt really rejuvenated. I’ve been on the search for an authentic Iyengar yoga sequence online and I’m glad my search is over! Much love and respect! Would you consider sharing a sequence for Covid / long covid recovery? X
Dear Sowmya, happy you had some relief. I will check into the sequences i have made and if needed will do another for long covid. There is one I made for immune you can look and and practice and then let me know how you feel. What are your major symptoms? Fatigue.
Take care and relax into the practice, just allowing yourself to be there as often as neeed.Namaste, Kathy

Thanks for incredible videos .. what size bolsters do you use ? Thanks
All my best in your practice! The bolster is 72cmx32x17. Best you look at your body size and make it longer or shorter and more flat and more round. This is all according to your numbers. On average this is a good approximate. Namaste
Which blocks are better cork, foam or wooden for yoga ?
My preference is a firm, steady, heavy, well proportioned block. I use a teak block as I prefer the solid state. I have seen cork and foam blocks that are heavier than in the past. Best to know the weight in order to make your decision. 🙏🏻
Ma'am your yoga videos are wonderful. I just downloaded this restorative yoga video. I would like to know if we can practice this in the evening after long hours of work.
Dear Shivakumar, 🤗 absolutely. Practicing this restorative will help you release from your day and sleep deeply.
This can be used anytime, day or night, when you have the time and want to rest and recoup. Enjoy your release. Namaste. 🙏🏽❤️
@@DesaYogiIyengarYoga ma'am you are an angel.
Is there any book by Iynegar sir whereby all this is explained ?
Hi Aman,
The books don’t explain in the detail of a class. Do you have any books? I can recommend something for general instructions.
Namaste, Kathy
The transcripts in the video come in between the yoga poses you show. It makes difficult to watch.
Dear Manjiri, look to the right corner box. That will turn off the writing. 🙏🏻
Hi the script comes in between the video making it difficult to watch
Dear Manjiri, you can turn the script off. Usually in upper right corner. Looks a bit like a star shape but bigger.
Hope that helps. Namaste 🙏🏻
Hi. The headlines, in black lines are covering you, in the video, for me it's not possible to practice without see what you do.
We have turned off the subtitles. Please let me know if it helps.
you can also turn off the subtitle on the lower right corner that says "cc".
Thanks again for the feedback. :-)
