The audience are rehearsed as much as the performers, it's part of the conditions to be allowed in front of cameras, lack of enthusiasm and you're out.

Where did you live in70s? Sweet was absolutely World famous and successful band reaching chart Nr1 positions many times.OK mainly in Europe.
I remember this hit from the mid 70s...I was only 10 years of age...Used to play this on my Pityful Portable Picnic Player until the needle ran out from wear & tear. Always brings back the BEST of memories when I was in Primary School. Best times EVER!

For me, The Sweet band is primarily Brian Francis Connolly. I simply adore his work! He sang his last song in 1995... So many years have passed, BUT! Brian Connolly and his work in the band The Sweet, forever in my heart.

I'd call that pure joy... I'd also call it vastly underrated by the critics of the 70's. Time has spoken, Sweet are here to stay as long as rock lives.
Very good the interpretation , very good the voice of Pete , seems to be the original song and I'm really pleased to see many young people who enjoy listening to the band.

Great performance !! Love the band Sweet and sad to see Steve Priest pass away recently RIP. I can say I was at the "right time" when the band was at their peak 1973-1978 (12 years old to 17 years old) to fully enjoy their greatness. This band gave hope to those in their teens in the mid 1970's of starting their own "garage rock band" as their tunes were catchy similar to those in the 1960's as opposed to the played out album rock that was so popular back then.
Sounds like we're the same age (I was born in 1961) and I too loved Sweet during that time frame!

They should have been inducted into the Rockin' Roll Hall of Fame like 10 or more years ago. I loved them as a teenager in the 70's and not just their music but how they changed and evolved and weren't afraid to try new things.
