Closing credits for ABC television's Rage music clip programme. They're much the same as today, only in 3:4.
Sorry about the quality but these tapes have deteriorated somewhat.

5:59 am... any Sunday morning in the 90's. This is my ANTHEM!!!
This had an almost mystic quality to a preteen kid waking up a little too early to watch cartoons on a Saturday morning.
It really did, then some shit song would play and bring you back to earth.
Having grown up watching Rage in the 90s and Early 2000s, i must say this still holds up really well and you wouldn't think it's as old as the late 80s!
Hopefully there'll be a Renee Geyer memorial tonight.

Back in 1988 before digital TV in the early 2000s, all television was broadcast in 4:3. They had to modify the credit sequence for widescreen format. Thanks for the comment.

Music in the 21st century might be dead and mediocre now especially in 2020 but the RAGE anthem will outlast it all and even us?! It was SO ahead of its time and it captured the heart and soul of 1980's genre back then but it doesn't quite work now. But that's not RAGES fault here as time moves on but the intro doesn't and that suits me just fine now as I want to be stuck in RAGES 1980's timewarp. God I miss the 80's so much and 1988...
It was a fun time. Hard to believe there was was no Internet (well, for most of us), and it was the dawn of (luggable) mobile phones.
