- Music by Steppenwolf, Rolling Stones. The US and their allies used tanks extensively in the Vietnam War. The Americans mostly used M48-A3 Pattons, as well as M41 Walker Bulldogs and M551 Sheridans.
They also used other tracked vehicles such as the M113 armored personnel carrier, M42 Duster self-propelled antiaircraft gun, M55 self-propelled howitzers, M706 Commando amphibious armored cars, and LVTP-5 amphibious landing vehicles.
I was a crewman on the M551 Sheridan, driver, gunner and loader. Also on the M113's and 114's. 1st Cav. A trp, 3rd of the 1st.
As a former M60A1 Tanker for the Big Red One...back in the 70's..."Tanks, for the memories..."
The Fighting First. Respect 👍
I'm jealous, you got to operate my favorite tank in history, and all I get to drive is a Ford.
I watch these videos and try to see if I can catch a glimpse of My Father's tank.
If you ever see an Army Tank with "Have Gun Will Travel" painted on the turret and 2 red stripes around the barrel, that's my Dads tank.
Every minute of this video is American Badass. Great job sir!
Thanks for watching 🙂
this is super cool, you definitely earned my sub. finding footage isnt easy, and i respect those who look for the hard stuff to find. bravo 👏
Thanks mate, very kind. Awesome job by the war correspondents to film it and the veterans to live it.
That m48 tank definitely got hit some round onto its front armor, it was seen a little smoky graze , though not penetrating blow. I can imagine the driver was stunned and obscured for some moments afterwards.
Thankyou for your service. So proud of you guys. Your heroes.
Love this 👍.
Thanks mate. It's great we have this footage thanks to the brave cameramen and brave troops.
Great video thanks
Thanks for watching 🙂

The song🎤🎶 and the music 🎶🎼are pretty match with the video 🎥📀📼.. Admiration from Germany 🏰🇩🇪 & Australia 🦘🇦🇺
Thank you for watching 😊
At 3:19, the still of America dead stacked on the engine of a tank reminds me of the saying " All gave some, some gave all" .
The U.S. government celebrates "Pride" month and Veterans get 1 day. That my friends is unacceptable!
That black 'n' white picture is horrific, what a grim harvest those tankies had to make... Having to tie soldiers maybe friends bodies to your tank to stop them falling into the tracks, stacking them on top of your ration boxes then onto each other, just imagine every time you got a ration box out being covered in blood and all sorts of other gory matter then having to force yourself to eat it with that vision of that unholy mass of lifeless human abattoir you've had to drag on up and tie to your tank...,war can be a necessery evil, but war can be hell, STABILIS... Lest we never forget. 🏴..
Yes a heartbreaking image from a tragic war 💔
Just give the ration pack a rinse with your water bottle before opening it bro.
@2:12 What type of tanks amphibious/landing vehicles are those? I see the Marines owns, uses them
LVTP-5, still in use with the Taiwanese Army
It’s LVTP-5 (Landing Vehicle Tracked Personnel )
LVTP5...…..tracked death traps!
5:02 Anyone know what was dropped out the hatch?
Broken Periscope
