    My teacher told me a story about a woman who had a gas explosion while being in the bathtub (don’t ask me how she did that). She called 911, she didn’t have any pain but the doctors knew she would die soon, so they asked her what messages she has and who they should be sent to. She didn’t know what he meant because like I said she didn’t have any pain.
    She died 20 minutes later.

    Do first degree burns cause hair loss? I used a laser device on my scalp, and I now have a sizable thinning spot followed by a burning feeling. It feels like a relatively light burn, and shows all the signs of it being in the first degree class, but its been months and a mild pain still persists followed by no regrowth in that area.

    • @bethanydavis9023
      @bethanydavis9023 Před 3 měsíci

      The survivor must've been in a really good hospital and with really good health care and family to look for the best treatments.
      And he must've been in crippling dept after.....
      But these are just assumptions. What was the article? Because after the 4th degree burns is getting to the areas where it's almost always fatal for the victim, mostly because of shock and the time to get to treatment. (Some the meat and bone will "melt" and fuse together, and another type of "burn" is Ash which is essentially cremation.... that's not to mentions past boiling point for skin to where it melts. All those the person likely died before the body could get that far...)

    A few years ago, I was making some crafts with a hot glue gun and a piece of hot glue dropped onto my exposed leg. It melted maybe about an inch of muscle, there was a hole in my leg. I quickly took care of it and it took awhile to heal (I couldn’t go to the hospital at the time). The spot now looks like a light brown bruise, and it’s almost completely healed besides the color. I can’t feel anything in that area now.

    I can't really tell which type of burn I have. So what happened is, it was like midnight and I was thirsty, I wanted something to drink. I think it was milk (I was like 2). So my father got up and began making the milk. I got impatient so I went into the kitchen and the kettle's burning hot liquid poured onto my arm. It would've gone onto my head but my dad moved it and it went into my arm instead. I began crying for like 5 minutes but I stopped because it stopped hurting I guess? I don't actually remember the reason I stopped crying.
    It's most likely either a second degree or third degree. I really can't tell tbh

      Yep… For the first time ever I used a saucepan with a handle to bake something in my oven at 400° F, and even though I took it out with an oven glove, I totally forgot a moment later that the handle was still going to be hot to the touch because I’m so used to grabbing it when cooking with it on the stove.
      I fully grabbed the handle with my bare hand almost right after I had taken it out of the oven and set it on the stove. It was most definitely a second-degree burn, instantly. The skin became white immediately and was rough and thick looking.
      I couldn’t stop taking my hand out of cold running tapwater for a good half hour, because the moment I did, it would instantly hurt so much more and felt like it was still being burned.
      I got tired of standing there (I have a very bad back so I can’t stand still long like that for long), and started using a bowl of cold water to put my hand in whilst laying down in bed, but I had to keep changing the water often because the water would simply get warmed up too quickly and my hand would start hurting a lot again.
      At one point I just became so tired of it that I used some sleeping pills to knock myself out and go to sleep, just so that I didn’t have to feel the pain anymore (it was way past time to go to sleep anyways).
      I woke up forgetting about the burn, but the moment I grabbed something with the palm of my hand it reminded me because there was instant pain again. It had already begun forming a good blister. 😬
      I’m hesitant to ever use a handled saucepan again in the oven because of this. I think I might stick to my baking dishes with very short handles to grab, as I only ever use them in the oven and my brain won’t forget that I always need to use oven mitts to handle them.

    I just got back from a quinceanera aka mexican sweet 16 and there was a bon fire. When it all happened I was inside talking to someone and he said i gotta go to the bathroom and I made my self a drink in th mean time while he got back and then i hear a boom now I'm thinking the the front porch had collapsed with all the people on it because after the boom there was all these people screaming so i run out & see whats happening and i see these 3 big balls of fire one of the kid on fire i didn't know it was a kid at the time the second was the gasoline tank on fire also didn't know what that at the time until later flying through the air going towards the bonfire thank God it didn't hit it third was the bonfire i run towards towards what i realize is someone on fire and a bunch of people are patting him down literally trying to beat the fire out so & then i hear my mom scream water and I remembered where the water was because I had gotten some 10 minutes ago I went to get a bottle of water and poured it on him my water saved his life & then they started to take his pants off to see his burnt leg & i turned on my flash light from my phone to see how bad the boy was burnt from what i could see this was at night btw so u couldn't really see and they only had one light source outside so u REALLY couldn't see anything but what i did see i flashed my light on him was his hand and his leg was all burnt his skin was peeling off & it was all white other people were saying afterwards that his face was also burt but i didn't see that but his face was covered all in dirt so maybe but idk. The emt came very fast 5-7 mins tops his mother was cry saying my son got burt, my son got burt. And then every was in shock the cops came interviewed the a person who lives there we were afraid that they were going to take him away because it's the responsibility of the owner of the home to make sure everyone is safe so we were afraid they were going to press charges on the homeowner they start asking questions they started looking around they left one cop stuck around we left we asked him when we left do you need anything else like why are you still here basically is what we asked him without asking him directly that and he said it's protocol I have to stay here and it until I find out what happened we left the party the majority of the people had already left by the time we get home they say investigators showed up and we told them if they need Witnesses or anything we will be there because now the mother is trying to say that the owner was trying to burn her son people were saying that they told the kid to step away from the fire he was poking the fire with a stick three times they told him three times to step away and then they say that someone poured gas on to the bonfire and that's when the gas can exploded they say or assuming the can exploded but we couldn't find the can it hasn't been found yet this literally happened 3 hours ago but yeah we're not sure if they're going to press charges against the homeowner because they are to be held responsible and to supervise the bonfire or the mother's supposed to be responsible because the kid that has ADHD and the mother is responsible of her kid I don't know but this literally happened and fire is not a joke

    I just burnt myself with a hot glue gun and immediately after I peel the hot glue off after it kind of like hardened up a bit and immediately turned white like the burn is white and it looks like it’s like bulging out of my finger but it’s not it’s just a white I don’t know I’ve had a second-degree burn before and it’s completely scarred over now that was a while ago like four orfive months ago so it’s completely scarred over now but my finger like the area around it like a big portion of it’s red and it’s like the actual burn itself where the hot glue touched is white.
