I think eleven was in Max’s mind, like the way she was in Billy’s in s3 and saw his past. I think it’s one of Max’s memories from California and El will need to use it to save her from Vecna.

When Lucas is looking up scared it’s probably the jock being lift up maybe the jock dies to vecna. And hopper is not fighting a demogorgan it’s a demo dog you can see the tail, it’s smaller and when it’s over hoppers face it’s referencing bobs death but of course hopper is not going to die.

When Eleven is inside the creel house, she is actually inside Vecnas mind in the red zone and that’s the door floating behind her. She probably has a vision of the upside down taking over, being bullied, (if Mike dies) flashbacks to her and Mike, etc. Vecna is using this to try to weaken Eleven but I’m assuming she wins
Yeah. If that happens then vecna literally did elevens job for her. Because in order to make her powers even stronger she needs to think moments that would make her sad and angry and if he does that then she would destroy him. But I don’t think so because he literally told her that technique.

So, in hopes that Mike won't die. I think the hugging/crying scene with Will and Jonathan MAY be a coming out scene since they've been hinting at it since episode one of season one. Secondly, I think the other gang may be sad or worried because Nancy told them what she saw and what happened to El in Hawkins Lab and it would explain why Eddie isn't as sad as Dustin since he never even met her. I feel like if Mike died he would be more sad than he is now.

I think the reason why vecna is at the "snowball Dance" from season 2 is because either Max or Eleven are trying to think of happy memories (since they both had their first proper kiss there) while being possessed by vecna or their thinking of happy memories just to cheer up but then suddenly vecna possess them
11:41 Vecna walking downstairs is an interesting shot. In the Upside Down, he’s usually plugged into the tentacles in the attic. I’m thinking that’s actually a shot of Vecna in the real world Creel house. My hunch is Vecna kills Jason (jock) and portal jumps into real world to chase those meddling kids. Would explain why Lucas is extra scared.
The other thing to note is the upside down Creel house is just covered in tentacles. There’s nothing really in sight in that stairwell…. I think that’s Vecna in the real world. Don’t know how Lucas/Erica/Max will be able to fight Vecna with bug zapper/lanterns. I’d guess they’d try to burn down the house, hopefully they bring some gasoline/matches.
100% jason dies btw cuz he enters creel house alr, then fights lucas, midfight he gets possesed and gets dismantled by vecna which is prolly why lucas is looking like he saw smth crazyyy

I think what a lot of people are forgetting is that Karen Wheeler has a bigger role this season. She had her own poster and was seen being attacked in the first trailer. She may potentially die and this could be why Nancy is upset.

Are you sure if that's Max pressing PLAY or is it her pressing PAUSE, indicating she is ready to enter Vecna's Mind Lair or something? Idk Max being at the forefront in that shot towards the end indicates to that she is sort of an important cog in their plan against Vecna, and the most important thing she could do is maybe let Vecna attack her, but in a controlled way, in order to let the other guys swoop in and hit him?

In the shot with Hopper with a demodog or demogorgan on him, I think Joyce might save him because of the guilt she felt watching Bob get killed and not doing anything. They come back to that moment with flashbacks or something similar

If you look at the part here Will is hugging Jonathan, the next shot Jonathan's hair is darker, which Jonathan in this scene is Vecna, meaning Will is Vecna's next target. Will might have trauma from his past when he got taken from the Demogorgon or Mike rejects Will and now has a awful memory and Vecna uses those memories to torture him, to make him a weaker and easier target like Max and Chrissy. Noah also posted on his Instagram story in a harness with the caption "harnessed up", this is another hint that Will can be the next target and Sadie wears the same harness from when she was levitating above Billy's grave.

It’s possible that due to lack of Mike maybe he could be the one who dies, but then again he’s practically the main character so it wouldn’t make sense to the story.If they follow through with Will being gay, my theory is that the scene could be of Will telling Jonathan that he has a crush on Mike and stuff and that cries into Jonathan’s shoulder and Jonathan tries comforting him. But if Mike does end up dying than the other theory is possible.

That isn't a Demogorgon, that's a Demodog. It has a tail. Maybe it's been secretly breeding, leaving slugs in the bodies of victims and multiplying, creating a horde of Demogorgons and Demodogs inside Kamchatka.
I think it would make more sense that the Russians contained it and needed them by sacrificing there own men or prisoners

I personally think Murray might die. There was a shot in one of the trailers with Joyce crying while Hopper was dragging her away. Just like Bob's death. I think Murray might run in to save Hopper and gets killed in the process. Another reason is that Murray had probably reached the end of his character arc. I made a chart abt it and it seems like the Duffer brothers kill off their characters and the end of their character arcs. I also have a big feeling one of them is not making it back from Alaska, and Murray might be that person. He's grown to be a fan favorite and possibly one of the main characters (I think he is). He might be the one to go down in a blaze of glory like someone does in every season.
there's no way mike is dying. they haven't set that up at alll this season. he's still got loose ends to tie up with El
Yeah people are total missing the build up to El getting strength from love. Note how Mike hasn't said "I love you" to El this whole season and it's a huge problem for her. The only reason she beat Henry was because she had a flash back to her mom saying she loves her.

also you can tell by the trailer that the snowball is going to have some significance. I think eleven will use the song she danced to with Mike as her lifeline when she attempts to defeat Vecna.
@@KennM12 I think the main thing that gives El the resolve to beat Vecna is Mike saying he loves her. I think they are leaving Mike out because it will be a critical point to the finally.
I also think Vecna will be stronger than El up to this point being that Vecna has grown far stronger than Henry. But we'll see in a week.
To be fair, I think they could manage to build it up with the 4 hour runtime they still have left, but I think you're definitely right about him saying 'I love you' being a source of power for Eleven.

(In that season 1 scene, We get a shot of Will’s house door and the interior lock chain is slowly opened by the creature outside. The demogorgons DONT have telekinesis powers , so what other being could’ve opened that lock?
I feel like it’s the most obvious thing that Eddie will die bc so far literally any “guest” characters for each season that we’ve come to like, always end up dying (Barbara season 1, Bob season 2, Alexi season 3) like if they continue to follow that formula, I’m thinking that Eddie will most likely be the one who dies.

Maybe the scene with vecna in the snowball is a projection of one of dustins fears, when he felt sad and alone at the snow ball - fear of rejection, loneliness? Then when he is screaming Eddie’s name he is about to be vecna’d and is calling out for help (in his mind)?
it’s not looking good for Max and Eddie. the way lucas was looking up in the creel house kinda looked like he was looking at Max being killed by Vecna and there’s that shot of Vecna with his hand doing that thing he does when he kills people. Dustin definitely looked like he was yelling Eddie in that shot and Eddie dying would make sense.

I think there's another explanation for the solo:
We know that music can get you out of Vecna's reach, right? So what if Eddie is playing a song to save someone? Like, maybe they're in the Creel house when Vecna strikes again, so they need to play this song quickly. To do so, Eddie sets up his guitar and amp and turns it up to max, playing the song in question to save someone who's too far away to be given Max's walkman.
when Eddie was talking to Chrissy, he mentioned the talent show. since the upside down is back in time, I think the guitar is from his talent show.

Here are some theories that I have:
A). The Final battle will reflect/Mirror the DD game in episode 1, with someone making a sacrifice attack (either Lucas or Eddie IMO) like Dustin did and someone else dealing the finishing blow (Eleven).
B). My top 7 characters to be killed off are:
1. Eddie
2. Lucas
3. Max
4. Steve
5. Robin
6. Nancy
7. Will
I do think your theory about mike being killed off is pretty plausible tho. And I really hope Eddie, Nancy, Robin, Max, and Steve don’t get killed off cause I’m very nervous they will. I would like to see more of eddie’s character next season and the trio of Steve, Robin and Nancy is so badass and dynamic that I want to to see it play out to the end of the series. Additionally, it would just suck if they killed off max this season cause now the entire Hargrove bloodline is wiped out. I also do believe Dr. Brenner could die saving Eleven from the government during the raid.
C). For the shot of everyone in the RV, I don’t think they’re sad someone died. I think they’re scared of what is to come. I think they’re scared that one of them could die.
If we use the D&D game theory wouldn't that mean Erica would get the final blow? she is the one who scored a 20 and defeated Vecna? I mean I doubt she will actually kill him, that will obviously be Eleven but maybe she helps in some way

I think they might be sad because something may have happened to their families, either Vecna related or Lt Col Sullivan related. There was the one shot of Karen and Holly looking terrified in the first trailer and we haven't seen that yet, so I'm guessing it's connected to this.
Almost 100 percent sure the scene of will crying in Jonathan’s arms is him coming out. Also Nancy might look so sad because of the flashbacks of barb and all the guilt she’s feeling

Also, during the scene when we see eleven in the hospital bed, you can see that she is crying, she could be crying because of mike, again the lack of mike in the trailer really dose not support the idea of mike being alive. Another possible explanation could be, that Mike is not involved with the fighting, which is highly unlikely, in my opinion, because, as we can see Lucas and Dustin have a very important role in all of this, which would be weird because why would only some of the main characters be involved with the final fight. But, we don’t see will in the final fight either, but then another question is, why isn’t will involved with the fight? But right now, I’m really hoping that mike doesn’t die. It could also be a trick by the duffer brothers to scare us.

I think Nancy is mourning the loss of Holly and/or her Mum. In trailer 1, there is a shot of Karen sheltering Holly from an explosion - I think this makes more sense as I HIGHLY doubt they will kill off any of the teenage kids - Will, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Max and El.
Also, I don’t think they’ll kill Steve off because of the backlash they’d receive from fans.

Yes! I don't know why everyone keeps saying that they got Nancy out safe; she is still cursed, and it takes some days; Max was inside Vecna's lair and back out before being pulled in "finally". Everyone is looking at Nancy like they looked at Max before Max was supposed to die.

I think that Jason comes into the kreel house, then gets the crap Beatin out of him then he passes out and then vecna kills Jason that’s why Lucas is looking up and screaming. I doubt they would make max or Erica die.
Plus killing Jason would make a portal in the Creel house, which may allow Vecna to show up in Hawkins.
