I think I remember her saying how the Queen took her and her brother under her wing when their mother died. She was like her second mother. Similarly to Sophie Wessex. The terrible things people are saying, (especially in America), about the Queen is criminal.

to bid their Queen goodbye comes up, just crossing themselves or bowing. But it still must be hard for the family. Yet it is necessary for them to share their mother/grannie/, aunt/ cousin with the people, just as they’ve always had to do.

Princess Margaret married Antony Armstrong-Jones in 1960, and he was given the title of 1st Earl of Snowdon (pronounced "snow", as in "white snow-flakes"), because he was of Welsh descent. They had two children, David and Sarah. When Antony died in 2017, David became the 2nd Earl of Snowdon. Because he was The Queen's nephew, David accompanied the coffin of HMTQ on foot, earlier this week (walking behind Prince William) as the coffin was taken on the gun-carriage from Buckingham Palace to Westminster.

They spent the majority of their school days at boarding schools, same as any children of their class...and by nannies. Why is it a surprise to commentators that this family is not devastated by the loss of their mother, grandmother and aunt. They may be the royal family but they are a family with a great loss to them. They feel the same as the rest of us when we lose a loved one.

Thank you for this coverage of Lady Sarah. She has always been impressive, in her own quiet way. And thank you fir this better narrating voice---no more horrible Cockney accent! There is one pronunciation error herein: Lord Snowdon's name should be pronounced like snow falling from the sky, snow-don, not to rhyme with the word snout. And there is a confusing diction error: the late Queen did not "only allow Lady Sarah to go" as if her movements were restricted. What you mean is "the Queen allowed Lady Sarah, only, to go" to certain special places.
