Tehachapi Loop filmed with DJI Phantom 3

- A 1+ mile long Union Pacific train heading downhill towards Bakersfield through the Tehachapi Loop. This was filmed with my DJI Phantom 3 Advanced. Even though the video was shot by me, audio credit goes to Ben over at bensound.com.

From the air you can really see the elevation changes to the track. Such a marvel engineering project for the time it was built. My favorite place to watch trains ..they always seem like a model train layout. Very good resolution on the video too.

Great video! I'm glad you followed the train down the track a ways, instead of just staying up at the Loop like most people do.

And 3 years later Utube finally puts this in my recommended! Great Video, now if you don't mind do one on the Cajon Pass Summit! Nobody ever films it with a drone! I want to see what is up over and around the curve of the Summit, which no one ever films! may only be able to do it with a Drone!

Hardly anyone seems to video that last bit of track which is very interesting. You could get some good shots following the train up from there.
