  • A 15,000+ ton BNSF grain train with 9 locomotives (4x3x2) descends the steep 2.2% grade of the Tehachapi Mountains as it circumnavigates the famed Tehachapi Loop at Walong. This train puts on an incredible show!
The train is then viewed meeting an uphill BNSF Z train which is in the hole at Woodford. That Z train, with a CitiRail lease engine on the point, is then shown climbing up through the Loop.

Nice video and catch! Loved watching it! It looks like you had excellent weather too; sunny and no wind.

que bonito video de tren me imagino como se forma mentalmente el maquinista el manejo de este tren en su topografia como llevar las remotas en potencia mientras la lider puede ir en freno dinamico segun que son las fuerzas dinamicas via tren

It's heading in that direction, but will terminate well before North Bay.

@@r.j.standridge8411 I don't recall. There are a handful of destinations in California's Central Valley for those grain trains.
